THE TRUE POWER IN THE BLOOD By WatchmanDean

April 29, 2014

Paul said

"I do not set aside the grace of God, for I tell you now that if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain." (Galatians 2: 21
Christians use this verse as their proof that the law is "dead" that it is "nullified" by Christ and that it "no longer applies at all." his is a terrible twist of s!ripture and is ridi!ulous if you read "alatians in its entirety.

#ou$ve probably heard the above said before, but have you ever !onsidered what Paul is a!tually saying% &oti!e he spea's of the gra!e () "(* here. Christians notoriously thin' Paul is tal'ing about the gra!e that we re!eive be!ause of the wor' of Christ +his death and resurre!tion,. #et, Paul does not say "the gra!e that !o-es through Christ" he says "the gra!e of "od."

*id "od not grant "gra!e" to -en prior to the wor' of Christ%

"ra!e was not invented by Christ. "ra!e is -entioned so-e .9 ti-es in the (ld esta-ent. hey had "the "/AC0 of "(*" before Christ !a-e. 1hat does this -ean% 2t -eans, to hear offi!ial Christianity tell it, Christ !a-e, died, and rose again for one purpose, to bring us "atone-ent and forgiveness on!e and for all for all our sins +both past, present and future,. " hey tea!h that Christ brought a &01

'ind of gra!e, one that is )(/030/ and non "refundable."

hey do not reali4e what Paul was tal'ing about in "alatians. Paul was tal'ing about "ra!e 5&*0/ 60 7A1. 1hat was "ra!e under the law% he sa-e 'ind of "ra!e Christianity prea!hes. he only differen!e between the "/AC0 they taught under the law and the gra!e they tea!h under Christianity is, under the law gra!e and forgiveness +atone-ent, was granted for the death of an ani-al on an altar, the shedding of inno!ent A&28A7 blood, while under the gra!e Christianity tea!hes, gra!e is granted be!ause of the shedding of Christ$s blood. 9o, Christianity is 9 277 tea!hing that gra!e !o-es by the 7A1 of the shedding of inno!ent blood, the only differen!e is who$s blood is being shed.

2f Christianity is true, then Christ died in vain, for they already 6A* a way whereby -en re!eived this 9A80 :2&* () "/AC0 Christianity tea!hes +whereby we are forgiven despite our hu-an frailties,. he shedding of ani-al blood did the 0;AC 9A80 62&" as the shedding of Christ$s blood +if Christ$s blood served the purpose Christianity !lai-s,. 1hen they tea!h that righteousness !o-es -erely by forgiveness and the shedding of blood they are tea!hing 7A1, in whi!h !ase, Christ is *0A* 2& 3A2&. hat is what Paul taught us<

A!!ording to the "gra!e" taught in the !hur!hes Christ had no real -ission. hey tea!h that "od be!a-e a -an, to die for us, to shed his own blood, so that we !ould be forgiven of our sins. 10 6A* 6A A7/0A*# and if that is all Christ$s blood does then Christ !learly died in vain and his -ission was an e=er!ise in futility. &ot only that, Christianity >uotes s!ripture that says Christ was "slain to receive !ower and glory" ("evelation #: 12 and su!h s!riptures are a

waste of breath if Christ is "od 2n!arnate. 1hy would "od have to be!o-e and -an and die to re!eive the right to be !alled our 7(/*% 6e was already our 7(/*<

Christians need to sit ba!' and ta'e a real long hard loo' at what they tea!h be!ause it -a'es no sense and is not supported in s!ripture, for if Christ died to bring us forgiveness we had that already, if Christ died to re!eive power and a "na-e above all na-es" he had that already as well +if 6e$s "od 2n!arnate as they tea!h,.

2n short, the ?esus being prea!hed by today$s !hur!h -a'es no logi!al sense and was a "pointless" Christ.

2f the shedding of blood for re-ission of sins is all that was pro-ised by Christ +and that is what they !learly tea!h,, they are tea!hing 7A1 and saying that Christ did not ta'e (5/ pla!e on the altar but instead too' the pla!e of /a-s and @ulls<

Christianity$s answer to all of this% "1ell, the blood of ra-s and bulls !ouldn$t really pay the penalty for our sins." /eally% 9o "od was lying% 1hen "od gave the law and the shedding of ani-al blood he was 7#2&" when he said it would atone for their sins% he writer of 6ebrews was lying too% 6e saidA

"For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:" (Hebrews 9: 13)

9o, why was Christ$s sa!rifi!e a "better sa!rifi!e%" hey tea!h that it was done on!e and for all sins for all ti-e. hat Christ died Bust so a bun!h of ani-als !ould be spared a death on the altar% hat$s the only reason Christ$s sa!rifi!e was better than ani-al sa!rifi!e under Christian tea!hing< hey also tea!h that the blood of ani-als was a "96A8" and really !ouldn$t atone. hey >uote 6ebrews 10A 4 for thisA

4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
hey translate "ta'e away sins" to -ean "atone-ent" or "forgiveness" +in other words the P0&A7 # is ta'en away not the sin itself,. 2t does not o!!ur to the Christian that the 6ebrews writer is saying that the only differen!e between Christ$s shedding blood and the blood of ani-als is that Christ$s blood literally "ta'es away" our sins and +ani-al blood didn$t pro-ise that for it !ouldn$t deliver on su!h a pro-ise, it !ouldn$t bring "the power",.

he blood of Christ does far -ore than A (&0 for sin +for if that is all it did, he shed his blood in vain for we had A (&080& and )(/"230&099 ... gra!e... under the old law,.

Christ$s blood brings P(10/ to (30/C(80 sins< 2t "ta'es away" our sins and has the pro-ise of -a'ing us "P0/)0C ," +so-ething the ani-al blood never pro-ised,. Christians !o-pletely 8299 this about the blood of Christ and prea!h the shedding of blood for atone-ent that was 5&*0/ 60 (7* 7A1.

Paul says, if shedding blood for atone-ent brings /2"6 0(59&099

+through gra!e and forgiveness, then Christ is dead in vain for we had "propitiation" of sins and gra!e 5&*0/ 60 (7* 7A1<

Christianity tea!hes the sa-e gra!e and forgiveness that they had under the old law, all wrapped up in new pa!'aging with the added lie that now that Christ has sa!rifi!ed and shed his blood they are righteous by his atone-ent +blood, and now his blood "hides their !urrent sins fro- "od" and when "od loo's at the- he sees only the righteousness of ?esus.

hey do not !onsider that 6ebrews 10 says,

2$ %or if we sin wilfully after that we have received the &nowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
he power in Christ$s blood is far -ore than Bust "atone-ent" and "forgiveness" +perpetual gra!e, for if this were so Christ wasted his ti-e, we had that already 5&*0/ 60 (7* 7A1. 6en!e Paul$s words, "if righteousness !o-e by the law, Christ is dead in vain." 1at!h-an *ean
