THE MAY CARNIVAL
Many visitors make their way to Warrnambool this week for the well known three day Racing Carnival. We trust everyone has a safe and enjoyable time. We especially welcome our visitors to our Racing Mass this morning.

Thank You: We are most indebted to St Marys Parish, Hamilton for their willingness to assist St Josephs Parish while Fr John is awaiting his hip operation. We thank Fr John Corrigan for presiding during the Easter ceremonies and we welcome Fr Pat Mugavin this weekend. We are grateful also for our neighbouring priests who will assist with any funerals we may have during the coming weeks. There may be the occasional time when a supply priest may not be available so to ensure that our community continues to meet for prayer (Assembly of the Word with Communion) there will be a meeting in the Church following 10.30am Mass on 4th May. If you are interested in assisting in this ministry please come along. Thank you. E-Conference: In St Josephs Hall, 11th June 10.00am - 3.00pm. The focus: Pope Francis Modelling the Ministry of Peter. All welcome. Contact Parish Office. Asylum & Migration: Pamphlets available, produced by the Australian Catholic Bishops, on the long standing teachings of the Church on asylum and migration. Project Compassion: Thank you to those who participated in Project Compassion. This has enabled us to share in the lives of many in need throughout the world. If you havent returned your box or envelope please do so in the next couple of weeks. Stations of being a Refugee: Our world is troubled and large numbers are fleeing their homelands. In the Gathering Space are drawings by Merran Koren - her desire is to create new conversations about the cross so many are bearing presently. Confirmation: The Sacrament will be celebrated on 19th, 20th & 21th June. Registration Forms from St Josephs School or contact the Parish Office. All Forms to be returned by Wednesday, 7th May.
