Hello, Thanks for picking up this Time Credit brochure, it will tell you what Time Credits are, how you can earn them, and how you can spend them. You might not have realised, but Time Credits are being earned and spent all over the country. Youre now part of a network of over 13,000 people and hundreds of organisations who give their time to their community. Welcome to the team. Here in Lancashire, nearly 10,000 Time Credits have been earned already, and 75 groups and organisations are involved. You can join in too, in a way that suits you. Have a look on The Team page to find out how. We should probably introduce ourselves were Spice. We work with people in your area to support Time Credits. Its very nice to meet you.

All the great ways to spend your Time Credits you see in this brochure are provided by businesses, councils and community groups. They do not receive any payment for providing these opportunities. We think youll agree thats rather nice of them, so let them know if you enjoyed their activity, and feel free to tell them how you earned your credits. If you have problems with any of the opportunities listed, get in touch with us straight away so we can chat to these helpful partners of ours and iron things out.
About the Partner The Creative Network is run by volunteers and delivers live music and art events across the North West. They bring creative people and groups together with the aim of encouraging wider engagement in Music and Arts.
What do I need to know? l Your Time Credits get you a wristband that enables entry to every venue over 2 performance nights of live music in each location. Time Credits
l You can pick up wristbands from Longton and Chorley Libraries. l Performances are 7pm-11pm. Venue details available from organisers nearer the time.

About the Partner Originally opened as Chorleys first electric cinema in 1910, Chorley Little Theatre has become a thriving arts venue in the centre of the town. Since 1960 it has been owned and operated by the amateur dramatics group CADOS, who have been putting on highquality productions for over 75 years. CADOS present at least 6 productions per season. What do I need to know? You can use 3 Time Credits to see any of the shows listed here. All of these great shows can sell out, so to avoid disappointment call the box office in advance on 01257 264362, or drop in to Malcolms Musicland, Baptist Chapel, Chapel Street, Chorley. You can also purchase tickets directly from the box office when its open.

What do I need to know? When joining a running session, you should wear comfy, loose clothing and trainers, with layers appropriate to the weather. If you need a fluorescent bib, these will be supplied by your group leader. Time credits can be used for running sessions throughout the week. Time Credits

About the Partner Duxbury Championship Golf course is set in the historic grounds of the Old Duxbury Estate. As well as a range of courses, the venue also features a stylish function area and outdoor seating, serving quality catering in beautiful surroundings! What do I need to know? Places are subject to availability, so simply call in advance to book a tee- off time. Golf shoes are not mandatory and a small amount of golf equipment is available for hire. All abilities are welcome, and the par 3 course is particularly suitable to beginners. Free parking is also available. What do I need to know? Tickets are limited in number and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so get in there quick! To book, please email kbent@bwct.org.uk or call on the above contact details in advance. Tickets can be booked no later than 24 hours before the game, and can be picked up on match day from the Community Trust reception at the Reebok stadium. Individuals booking tickets with Time Credits must notify the club on 01204 673790 if for some reason they cant collect them on the day. Failure to do this prevents tickets being available for other customers, and may prevent future access to games. Time Credits

1 hour of reflexology: Reflexology involves the application of pressure to specific points, known as reflexes, on the feet and hands to encourage the body to heal from within.

What do I need to know? Make sure you bring suitable clothing for this fun-filled day, including old trainers and a change of clothing and footwear just in case the sun isnt shinning! Definitely dont forget your picnic and drinks, including flasks for hot drinks if you wish. If you have any special requirements or require transport, please be sure to let us know when booking. Age range for the day is 8+ with no upper age limit!

When its on Saturday 19th April, Easter Egg Hunt on Water. This fun filled day takes place on the breathtakingly beautiful Rivington Resevoir. Its classed as a dry event which means you shouldnt get wet unless you decide to jump in!

About the Partner Age UK offer information, support services and social activities to help older people enjoy valued and fulfilling lives. The Lifestyle Centre is delivered in partnership with Brothers of Charity and is open Monday to Friday. Refreshments including hot snacks and lunches are available to purchase.

Taking Time Out is a chance for reflection away from the hustle and bustle of the week. It offers you an opportunity to take an hour out of your busy day to enjoy a short 30 minute midweek service followed by a delicious homemade lunch from our Connect Caf.

About the Partner The Dial a Ride service is available to everyone in the Chorley and South Ribble area that doesnt have access to a car and cant use public transport easily, either through mobility problems or because no suitable service is available. You can use the service for visiting friends, shopping, social activities or to access educational activities and employment. All mini-buses are wheelchair accessible and run Monday to Friday between 9am and 4.30pm. Dial a Ride also do trips to a range of places such as Southport, Boundary Mill, Garden Centres and trips on request for days out for groups
What do I need to know? Places are subject to availability, so give Dial a Ride a call on 01257 260488 to find out what routes are available and to book on.

Volunteers earn Time Credits for training new presenters, supporting Road Crew Events & Outside Broadcasts, attending community meetings and helping with flyer distribution. Volunteers are also encouraged to get involved in planning, developing and running of the station and contributing new ideas and activities thrugh think tank meetings. Volunteers who carry out presenter interviews and cover for absences for presenters also earn Time Credits.

About the partner We are the local group of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. We aim to support people affected by MS who live in the Chorley, Leyland and surrounding area. We provide a range of services relating to daily living with MS, including support visits, home-based physiotherapy and providing information.

Volunteers can earn Time Credits at Chorley Panthers by helping with building maintenance, DIY, taking care of refreshments at home team games and supporting in the kitchen. About the partner Chorley Panthers provides opportunities to participate in the sport of rgby league. They have 18 teams, male and female from 4 years to masters rugby. The club have 5 pitches (one floodlit) a clubhouse, gymnasium, 9 changing rooms, and a treatment room.
About the partner The Friends of the Anderton Centre are a group of volunteers from Bolton Conservation Volunteer Group who established since 1976, dedicate some of their time each year to helping maintain the grounds and habitat at The Anderton Outdoor Activity Centre in Chorley. They are always looking for new people from the local community to get involved.
