On 31st August every year, we celebrate the independence of our beloved country Malaysia. We showed with pride the Jalur Gemilang at home and even in school. We should be proud that we are Malaysian with different religious and we work together no matter what happens. This day is for all of us Malaysians to celebrate its day. We must be a more responsible citizen so we can unite and we can reach to the top and achieve to Wawasan 2020. This is how i see towards a responsible Malaysian , some Malaysian does not know that they play an important role to our country and they are a valuable contributor to the country . In reality , everyone in this country brings up the countrys economic development . Most importantly they must always know that each of them has an equal role in the creation and development of the country. Responsible citizen means people who follow all the rules and regulations set up by not only the state and federal governments, but the local city governments as well. Most individuals who are breaking laws will not be thought of as responsible citizen. Being environmentally friendly also plays an important role in being a responsible citizen. It does not necessarily mean you protect every tree from being cut down, but it does mean how you recycle your things , and the most imporant thing is that we don't litter. Picking up the rubbish yourself not only helps make you a responsible citizen, but it helps keep the neighborhood as well.

Being a responsible citizen is not as easy as what you think. Nobody can be responsible if there is no law existing. Law exist is to protect us citizen to leave in a very peace and enjoyable environment . If law doesnt exist , there will be lots of criminal cases happening around the country or state. This will affect the countrys economic and even distraction to the citizens life. If we want be a responsible citizen, we must always follow the laws by not breaking them , it is not being a good citizen if you harm the others. If you hurt the others , you must always think before doing that , it may affect how people look at you and your first impression to them. Being a good student also plays an important role in the school by who they hangs out with and what they do in school. Joining societies or clubs may be the best option to choose for them in school. Societies such as Save the World , Interact club or Christian Fellowship could help you to become a good citizen. Participating in many societies could also shows your ability being responsible like attend all the meetings and help out to organize events. In whatever industry you are in , you must know that , you have an very high impact on the countrys economic development. It is not just about making money for a living but let the upcoming generation to know that being a responsible citizen also plays an important role. We must always know that whatever you do, there is always an impact towards the country. Everyone one of us , no matters what occupation you are in creates a strong impact to the country , most importantly is the students who are studying , we have to educate them to be more responsible and not simply by breaking the laws or rules. We must educate them from young . Police should also take action towards the people who are irresponsible, example people who litter everywhere they go. They should fine the citizen and even make them learn to be more responsible. From that point , the citizen will be more responsible and think twice before doing it again. We have to also promote through newspapers , internet , magazines and other social media

to let them to be a responsible citizen so that the first impression to our tourist would be great. Police must also use their ways to make sure they do not do the same thing again the next time by giving them warning , if they make mistakes again their names shall be in the blacklist record book. Parents should always look after their children by observing who they hang out with or mix with. Friends are the one that consist the highest rate of influencing and parents should make sure that they do not come back later than 10pm to ensure their safety .

In conclusion, all the citizens of Malaysia should enhance their daily activities by doing things that are more rational. The citizens in Malaysia should learn to be more responsible and caring to the surroundings included the people , the environment and others things that play in an important role. If us Malaysian can do that everyday or everywhere we go , our country will be very peaceful and the tourist would like to come to our country again for their next trip and that helps our economic development as well.
