Safety Advisor (FI/FO) Project Location: Geraldton, Gascoyne & Midwest Company Profile: MCC Mining WA Pty Ltd has won the lead construction contract for the Sino Iron Project, a large-scale magnetite iron ore project located at Cape Preston, 100km south west of Karratha.
Key Duties: Work with team members to design the most effective construction safety standards. Oversee and implement the effective implementation of the company systems on the project. Develop practical safety standards aligned to organisation objectives. Effective mentoring of contractor health and safety personnel onsite. Provide guidance and advice to all contractors, overseeing optimised performance. Continuous improvement of approach to health and safety. Conduct well managed investigations with outcomes executed. Undertake daily and weekly inspections and audits, managing their outcomes.
