The differences of motivation and learning outcome between using problem-based learning model and project-based learning model on web programming lessons class x SMK PGRI 3 Malang. Thesis. Keyword: Motivation, Learning Outcomes, Problem Based Learning Model, Project Based Learning Model. Problems faced in learning activities at SMK PGRI 3 Malang today is student interest in the material is less. So enthusiastic students in learning is reduced. This resulted in students learning activities follow a half-hearted, students just sit accept what the teacher said and wait instruction from teachers. For example, on the subject of web programming, if students are just waiting instruction from teachers without any willingness to practice independently assigned material will be difficult for students to understand the material. Web programming material easier to understand if students understanding and comprehend what the benefits from material provided. If students are interested in the material given, they are definitely trying to understand the purpose of the material. This research aims to researching differences in students' motivation and learning outcomes between implementation Model of Problem Based Learning and Project Based Learning on subjects Web Programming in class X SMK PGRI 3 Malang. The research design used was quasi Experimental Design. Techniques of data collection is used test, questionnaire or questionnaires, and documentation. The instruments used are two, is Treatment and Measurement Instruments motivation and student learning outcomes. Instrument treatment consists of syllabi, lesson plans and student worksheet. Instrument measure consists of pretest, post-test and questionnaire. Test instrument consists of validity test, reliability test, level of difficulty, and different power test. Data analysis consisted of two, prerequisites analysis and hypothesis analysis. Prerequisites test data analysis cosisstes of normality test, homogeneity test, and test the equality of two average. Analysis of hypothesis using the t test and Annova two way with SPSS 16.0. The results of the research it can be concluded that results of student learning cognitive, affective, and psychomotor the experiment class and the control class has a significant difference. While the motivation to learn experiment class and control class after tested with SPSS does not have a significant difference, Model of Problem Based Learning and Project Based Learning are equally motivating student learning. And there is not difference in learning outcomes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor significant between the application Model of Problem Based Learning and Project Based Learning based on learning motivation high and low learning motivation.
