Citing data from IHS, Continental Resources Inc. reported that Bakken field has surpassed 1 billion bbl of cumulative light, sweet
crude oil production during this years first quarter.
EIA: US petroleum product exports increased in 2013 - Oil & Gas Journal
US petroleum product exports in 2013 averaged 3.5 million b/d, up 10% from levels in 2012, according to the US Energy
Information Administration. In December 2013, US exports of petroleum products reached 4.3 million b/d, the first time to
exceed 4 million b/d in a single month.
Fuel Fix Companies face hurdles to export US natural gas
Dozens of facilities have been proposed to liquefy and export natural gas, but most will never become reality. The plants are
costly, and federal permitting is complex. Only six have Energy Department licenses to export to nations with which the U.S. has
no free trade agreements the most attractive pool of potential customers. And only one of those also holds the required
permits from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Williams Partners is planning a $300 million pipeline expansion to carry natural gas to Cheniere Energys planned liquefied natural
gas export facilities at the Sabine Pass in Louisiana, the company said Friday.

BP plans to exit Utica shale - Oil & Gas Journal
Data from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources shows the bulk of Utica permitting activity is occurring to the south, in
Carroll, Harrison, Columbiana, Noble, and Guernsey counties. The agency had issued 1,230 permits to drill in the formation as of
Apr. 26.
Stone discovers oil in deepwater Cardona South well - Oil & Gas Journal
The success of the Cardona South well and the previously announced Cardona well allows us to move forward with our
accelerated development program, said David H. Welch, Stone chairman, president, and chief executive officer.
We expect to begin production early in 2015, less than 1 year after spudding the first Cardona well, and we expect volumes from
these two wells to more than double our deepwater oil production. These two successful wells, combined with the Amethyst and
Tomcat discoveries in February, have provided a great start to our 2014 exploration and development drilling program, Welch
said.

Mercuria Said to Offer Jobs to JPMorgan Traders - Bloomberg
Mercuria Energy Group Ltd., which agreed to buy JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM)s physical commodity unit for $3.5 billion in
March, is offering jobs to about 200 people, or half the units staff, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Weston Capital, a Ghanaian investment-advisory firm, plans to raise as much as 50 million cedis ($18 million) for the first fund
dedicated to oil and gas investments in the West African nation.
