Hey yawl!!! This week has gone MUCH faster than the first, thats for sure!

But its been great!!!

Let see, so last P-day right after emailing I went to Salt Lake City, on a bus, and train, and by foot...quite an adventure,
ha-ha with 2 other sisters in my district, we got our VISAS! So yeah, thats good!
Friday in the morning was kind of overwhelming because I realized it would be working every single day for 18 months,
without a 'spring break' or anything, but that day got a lot better! All the teachers are fantastic!! And Brother Byrd my
teacher helped me understand Spanish a lot better so it made me more invigorated! Oh and ha-ha theres a teacher we
call 'Brother Soul-Piercing-Eyes' because dang he was scary, and like wouldnt laugh or anything, he was so serious, and
like when we're planning his standing like directly above you staring you down- his eyes are piercing super bright blue
against his dark skin, and EVERYONE is afraid of him....but Friday we got him to ease up, and he actually laughed! It was
a miracle! So that made everyone in my district's day better too ha-ha-ha... lets see oh, it also rained on Friday!
Saturday it rained allllllll day, it was fun, and me and Hermana Moore (in my district) ran outside singing, so we could be
singing in the rain but we sang church songs instead because were missionaries ;)
And Seriously, I LOVE singing Spanish hymns...its so great! Im glad it got to go Spanish stadium singing at byui:) and
also, it love my companion. She is just great and really funny ha-ha, it cant explain it, but Saturday was a good day!
Sunday it HAILED for a little bit, it was outside and it was like aahhh because it was crazy wind freezing and so my mouth
was open and ICE flew into my mouth, ha-ha it was super weird! But besides the weather it loved Sunday! Sunday is my
favorite day! Oh, and my companion and I have been called to be the Sister Training Leaders (Zone leaders for the
sisters) so thats cool, but we dont do much until we get more missionaries in our zone because the older part of our
zone left this week for Mexico! Bu yeah, Sunday the spirit was just so strong all day, even though we had lots of
meetings and stuff, it was just good! :)
Monday was...ayeayeaye! ha-ha well we started the morning with an "English fast" so no speaking English for two meals,
we did it from waking up til probably 12, but lunch is at 11;30, so we just started speaking English again right after lunch
ha-ha its hard! But totally awesome too, its refreshing only speaking Spanish, we know more than we think! But yeah,
Monday was really hard--- it think after Sunday with such a spiritual high, Monday gets us into an ultra low....Im not
sure exactly what was wrong, but with the morning class it felt like it couldnt do anything and it just broke down,
Hermano Carr, one of our teachers pulled me aside into a room to just let me breathe and cry and breathe for a while,
so as it was in there, little did it know, that 3 of the other sisters were crying in different rooms too..ha-ha-ha like
man....a district full of sisters is...crazy... ha-ha-ha within 2 days the teachers have dealt with all of us girls crying at a
point in time.... we joke around about how they're more like therapists rather than teachers... but yeah, Hermano Carr
was totally lead by the spirit and was able to tell me exactly what it needed to hear... and really it dont even know why
it was crying, like it felt completely fine before, and Ive felt completely fine since, but something weird happened! Ha-ha
but he gave me a talk to read, "His Grace is Sufficient" and that made me feel a whole lot better, it read it as my
companion just studied scriptures ... that is a great talk!! Anyway, also that day was hard because my companion was
having a hard day but would not talk to me at all... it kept asking what was wrong and she'd shrug and turn away, it
couldnt tell if she was mad at me or what, but we had no unity at all that day which was a struggle, but that night we
did TRC where we go teach members, and when we went in there she was totally fine, .(yesterday it found out that she
was just frustrated at herself and it wasnt anything it did, she was just having a rough day but at TRC when we started
serving people it made her feel better...service is the way to feel better!!) but yeah TRC was fun! we were supposed to
teach in Spanish, but the first room we went into it was a cute old couple in their 90's and the wife didnt know any
Spanish, so we'd say a sentence then translate it, and it just turned into all English ha-ha-ha but they were so cute!! And
they were really the ones teaching us! It cant remember right now of what all they said, but it was great:) and the next
room it could feel the gift of tongues working! It said sentences in my testimony it didnt even know it knew how to say
in Spanish!! It was the coolest thing ever. I loved it! Oh... and btw, it snowed Monday too! It didnt stick, but it was
snowing! ...the weather this week was crazy! Rain, hail and snow!!?? Yeah...crazy.... its cold here.
Tuesday my companion and it got along really well again. I really do love here even in our rough patches! And it love her
prayers! They are so sincere! I love how much we pray here at the mtc, ha-ha we pray like a million times a day, which is
just great! The spirit at the mtc is so strong!! Oh, and Tuesday night devotional, who came? ANOTHER APOSTLE! D. Todd
Christofferson!!! Its only been two weeks and Ive heard from uchtdorf, oaks, and christofferson...man am it blessed!
Seriously when he walked in the room it just got goose bumps. I was really thinking about how lucky it am to hear from
an apostle! Like he is an apostle of the LORD! Of our heavenly father! He is the mouthpiece! Thats like almost having
Christ come! Like wow...it was incredible. He talked about how the lord loves everyone, whether we deserve it or not,
he loves you, but can he TRUST you? Wow. That was great. We need to be trustworthy of him, its greater to be trusted
than to be loved" and btw- he is really funny! Like man... he's just a great man! Also funny- my branch president,
President Evans... great man!!! joke- what do fish do?---- Nada ("nothing" or "swim") ha-ha but his very intelligent, and
he taught us that all we have to do is teach people to have faith, then when they have faith they will want to repent and
get baptized and receive the holy ghost and endure to the end...our purpose is done! We just need them to have faith!
Good stuff.
Anyway, Tuesday was also Hermana Ferweda's birthday, (in my district and apartment) she turned 21, so we got
Martanelli's (apple cider) and that night had a mini party ha-ha it was super fun, we all toasted to her and yeah...it love
our district! and really, us 6 girls are our district, but at the moment our entire zone, because the rest of the zone left for
Mexico.... which also means that we got all the candy passed down to us.... oh my gosh... TONS OF CANDY ....boxes
full.... like... a ridiculous amount! Its great! We ate a lot!!
Wednesday was super spiritual too! And another therapy session... ha-ha-ha it cant remember exactly what all was said
Wednesday night, but it know how it felt- God loves us and he listens to our prayers even though we may feel like his
not... what stuck out to me is when we discussed like how at efy or girls camp or something the spirit is like ridiculous
crazy strong, but here it isnt like that every day. Our teacher said its because back at home feeling the spirit that strong
was more of a unique thing...here we are getting accustomed to it...its beginning to be the norm, so it would feel more
crazy for it to go away than to feel it.. Idk if that made sense, but it was really great.
My testimony continues to be strengthened every day! And this week especially it realized how great the restoration is...
its AMAZING, it want to tell everyone, its TRUE and I LOVE IT and we are so blessed! Christ's true church has been
RESTORED to the earth! Its truly incredible!! I know that this church is true, and joseph smith was a real prophet called
of god. He saw our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that Thomas S Monson is a living prophet today! I know that
the Book of Mormon is truly the Word of God, and it testifies of Jesus Christ! I love this church, and Im so glad it get to
be a representative of Jesus Christ, to work and be his hands in helping and inviting people to the greatest happiness!:)
I love you all and miss you!! Have a great week!!
Oh it can try to upload a couple pictures!!! Maybe.... :)
-Hermana Davis
This is my district - Hermana Baker, Hermana Moore, Hermana Crowther (my companion), me, Hermana Ferweda and
Hermana Howlett! :) Its a great district, I love them!!

And this is the candy, and seriously the picture doesnt even do it justice! there was not a space on the floor, it was our
entire room, like... the scale to me and the couches, dude.... so much candy... and this was the LEFTOVERS, its been
passed down, and the zone above us didnt add to it at all, and they ate a lot of it... I cant even imagine what it was
before....so yeah, we're stocked.... plus 24 cinnamon rolls and um just yeahh..... Good stuff... :)
