What is the Frog VLE? Its a platform that allows you to teach and learn in a simple,
fun, and engaging way.
Frogs easy-to-use system allows students and teachers to build a sleek-looking,
informative teaching and learning Site without needing any technical expertise. Users
can search for almost anything on the internet (videos, images, educational resources)
and add it into their Site with a few simple clicks.
The Frog VLE is also a gateway to a plethora of educational resources and cool apps from
around the web, all accessible within a safe environment that lters out inappropriate
material.

global resources from Google, Khan Academy, and more, as well as keep track of your
account details on the Yes network.

The Integrated Solution
Under 1BestariNet, schools will be equipped with an integrated solution allowing
teaching, learning, collaboration, and administrative functions to take place through the
Internet-based Virtual Learning Environment (Frog VLE), which can be accessed in
school and from anywhere else with an Internet connection.
How the components of the solution work to deliver an integrated service:
Beyond School:
Flexibility and Mobility
The Frog VLE is a cloud-based platform,
which provides for exibility and
mobility beyond schools. Files and data
saved on the cloud can be accessed
from anywhere, anytime with an
Internet connection. Additionally, users
will have unlimited access to the Frog
VLE when logged in to any Yes network
with the Yes ID. What that means is you
will not be charged for any data usage
while using the VLE.
In School:
Access and Safety
Schools will be provided with Internet
connectivity, enabling access to the
Frog VLE to enhance teaching and
learning. Within the school, an in-built
content lter provides a safe learning
environment and ensures that students
are unable to access inappropriate
content through the Internet. Only
educational websites approved by the
MoE will be allowed to pass through
the content lter.

The Pond
Hop on into The Pond, where the brightest minds gather and where
great ideas are sparked and shared!
The Pond is a student portal which can be accessed through the Frog VLE
and provides Frog Student Champions with all the resources they need to
learn about Frog and help them drive the use of Frog among their fellow
students.
Not only that, this is a place for all students to participate in contests,
browse through educational links, videos, games, and tips, and check out
what other Frog Student Champions have been up to on the Wall of Fame!
