10:50 2nd v 3rd 12:30 Debrieng No Games KISAC HS FOOTBALL Guidelines 2013 2014 1) Each team shall be 7 players including one designated goalkeeper on the pitch. 2) All players should be wearing team shirts with number clearly indicated on front or back. 3) Squad sizes must not exceed 14 for each match schools may only name 14 players on the roster for each match. 4) Multiple subs can be rotated at any time during a game if the ball is out of play but the referee must be notied before this can take place. 5) The referee may choose to stop the watch if there is a prolonged stoppage due to a substitution or injury. 6) Pitch size is approx. 50m x 35m and is AstroTurf. 7) Goal size is 1.83m x 3.75m approx. 8) Shin pads and appropriate footwear must be worn at all times. No long studs should be worn. 9) Goalkeepers cannot pick up a back pass. A direct free kick on the edge of the D will result if they do 10) Referees will penalize foul throws. 11) For all free kicks, opposing players must retreat 5m from the ball. 12) The game will start with a kick off which must be a pass in any direction players cannot score directly. 13) Penalty kicks will be taken from a distance of 6m from the goal. The goalkeeper must remain on the line until the ball is kicked. 14) MERCY rules - score-lines exceeding 5 goals should be discouraged. Coaches should swap positions and subs to prevent mis-matchesreferees will not record scores over 5 goals differential. 15) SCORING - Points for pool matches are awarded as follows: WIN = 4 points, SCORE DRAW = 2 points, GOAL-LESS DRAW= 1 point, LOSS = 1 point. 16) GROUP POSITION: If 2 teams are tied on points the result of a group game will be used and if this was a tie, the team scoring rst in that match will decide a nal place. If a score-less draw then a penalty shoot-out (3 kicks initially followed by sudden death) will decide 17) Where 3 teams are tied on points highest total of goals scored between those 3 teams, then fewest goals conceded wins 18) PLAY OFF MATCHES - In the event of a tie, there will be a period of 5 mins golden goal to decide the winner. After that time a penalty shoot-out will decide with 3 nominated players initially, followed by sudden death involving the remaining players. 19) All referees are to be treated with respect at all times. Please support their decisions and ask your players, coaches and parents to refrain from questioning decisions and show appreciation for their efforts. 20) Referees have been instructed to request a player is substituted if they behave in a way, which threatens the safety or enjoyment of the other players, or referee. Yellow and red cards will be used for deliberate fouls; dissent or violent conduct/dangerous play in a game.
