READ: John 20:19-29
SHARE: The disciples are behind a locked door and
they are gripped with fear and doubt. Then Jesus
appears and the fear and the doubt begin to diminish.
What is the fear and/or the doubt that grips you
today? Do you believe that Gods presence is with
you? What do you need to do to focus more on Him
and less on the source of your fear?
PRAY: Confess to the Lord what has seized your heart with fear and doubt.
Ask Him to increase your faith in Him and for the grace to look to Him
during difcult times.

READ: 2 Corinthians 5:11-21
SHARE: When a person surrenders to Jesus as
Lord and Savior, his life is forever transformed;
never to be the same, always becoming more like
Jesus and given a new calling in life share Jesus.
Shouldnt the same be true of our homes? Has your
home been transformed by the power of Christ?
Discuss as a family what might need to change in
order for your home to display Gods glory? How could verse 15 become
real for your home and your life?
PRAY: Ask God to give you wisdom and guidance to enable your home to
be a place where the love of Christ is known and the glory of God is
displayed to all you encounter. Parents - Refer to the One Conversation
page for further discussion with your children.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you,
and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth. -Acts 1:8

SHARE: Talk about what it means to be delivered from the bondage of
sin and to experience victory in Christ? Who does verse 27 reveal that is
praying for Christ-followers right now? (Yes, Jesus!) Verse 29 shows us
what Gods ultimate desire for every Christian is and is also the good
that God promises in vs. 28. (Right! We are to be the image bearers of
Christ to this world.) SALVATION begins the process of sanctication
setting us free from the power of sin and helping us look more and more
like Jesus.
PRAY: Ask for God to work in the lives of your family to know Christ in
SALVATION and to be conformed to His image.
