ACCOUNT ASSISTANT



Name:

Reports to: Manager

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger, financial statements and
other financial reports, and document business transactions for clients.

2. Prepare, manage and comply with all kinds of audit work, and interact and co
operate with external auditors in completing audit.

3. Present the financial statements and other financial reports and make
suggestion to clients.

4. Attend and brief clients in all matters pertaining to accounting and audit
work.

5. Prepare clients tax assessment and compliance.

6. Resolve accounting discrepancies.

7. Issue invoices and collect payments from clients.

8. Other duties as assigned by Manager/ Managing Director.

Actions of misconduct that would lead to dismissal are as follows:

1. All staff must be punctual for work.

2. The following acts shall be treated as misconduct:

Willful insubordination or disobedience to any lawful and reasonable order of a
superior.

Theft, fraud or dishonesty in connection with the employers business or
property.

Habitual absence without leave.

Habitual late attendance (three or more occasions within six months).

Drunkenness, taking illegal drugs, fighting, riotous or disorderly or indecent
behavior.

Bullying or harassing in any way, including sexual harassment, any co-worker, or
person with whom the employee has business-related contracts.

Sleeping during working hours.

Negligence.

Texting, messaging, chatting or play games on smart phone, laptop or personal
computer during working hours.

Smoking in prohibited areas of the company premises.

Failure to follow safety rules and regulations.

Resorting to industrial action or inciting others to resort to industrial action in
contravention of the provisions of the Industrial Relations Act or of any other
law.
