A Memorable Trip To Terengganu
During the recent school semester holidays, the Counselling Club of
our school, (e#olah $enengah )ebangsaan (ri *entara had organised
an unforgettable trip to Terengganu. The four-day trip to Terengganu
was participated by +' students and + teachers.
,t was on the -
th
of April. (aturday morning dawned bright and
easy. The day we were loo#ing forward had come. At the wee hours,
we boarded the bus and it headed straight to Primula Beach Resort.
After a tiring .ourney, we arri!ed there as the cloc# struc# twel!e. We
checked in there at noon. We felt really e/hausted actually but when
we heard that there was a cultural sho at the Primula !all, our eyes
were alighted with e/citement. ,t was a chance of a lifetime0 We
should not miss the opportunity, so we headed to the 1rimula 2all. At
the 1rimula 2all, there were myriads of e!ents being held. 3or
instance, top-spinning competition, 4ule# mayang5 performance, #ite-
ma#ing demonstration and the li#e. Then we went to the Batik "actor#
which was .ust a stone5s throw away from the 1rimula 2all. 2ere, we
got a first-hand #nowledge on how bati# was made. The process of
ma#ing bati# that we watched there would always be in our minds.

The second day was the euphoric one0 We rented a boat and headed
to Pulau $apas. 1ulau )apas was the most scenic island that we had
e!er seen. The coconut trees were swaying as if they were welcoming
us. The shimmering blue water e/tended throughout the island
commonly #nown as the 4The $ost "nchanted ,sland5 in the country.
1ulau )apas boasts lots of interesting places and acti!ities for its
!acationers. ,t is a perfect escapade for the city dwellers from the
hustle and bustle of city life. ,t also offers high-class accommodation
and amenities for its !isitors. *esides, 1ulau )apas is also an anglers5
paradise. There are myriads of fishing ponds here awaiting those who
are fishing enthusiasts. We had tried "ishing at the ponds nearby and
had caught different types of fishes. $oreo!er, 1ulau )apas also
pro!ides others acti!ities li#e snor#elling, scuba di!ing, boating,
parasailing and bungee .umping. ,ndeed, we en.oyed our time
snorkelling in the crystal clear water.

Then, the third day came. We !isited Rantau Abang *each which was
pictures6ue. 7n account of the school holidays, there were throngs of
people gathered there. There, we !isited a %$eropok& 'actor# and
soon learnt the process of ma#ing fish crac#ers. ,t was a pleasurable
e/perience. We also got the opportunity to watch ho boats ere
made. The e/pertise of the boat ma#ers really caught our attention.
We were mesmerised to see them. At night, we got a golden chance
watching a turtle come to the shore and la# its eggs. ,t was definitely
a first-hand #nowledge because we ha!e ne!er watched such an e!ent
before.

The fourth day was indeed a sad day. We had to say goodbye to
Terengganu. We boarded our bus back to $ota Bharu. 2alf way
through the .ourney, we stopped at a nearby stall "or lunch. A moody
situation turned into a .oyous moment as the food at the stall was
tantalising and mouth-watering. After lunch, we continued our .ourney.
,t was almost e!ening when we reached our school.
,n conclusion, the trip was really en.oyable and would always be
fresh in our minds. We loo# forward to another trip ne/t year.
