"I want to get rid of the Indian problem. I do not
think as a matter of fact, that the country ought to
continuously protect a class of people who are able
to stand alone... Our objective is to continue until
there is not a single Indian in Canada that has not
been absorbed into the body politic and there is no
Indian question, and no Indian Department.
Duncan Campbell Scott, Deputy Minister of
Indian Affairs in Canada, 1920

Extermination and
Denial

The Holocaust and the Rwanda Genocides mass killing of
the imperfect culture and civilization.
The Residential System was not a mass-slaughter
genocide even though a few Natives died. It was more of
a cultural genocide, which is destroying their culture and
civilization to the perpetrators purpose.
During the Holocaust, all types of people who were
impure were killed and tortured. In the Residential
Systems Genocide there was just one race attacked, the
Natives, and in the Rwandan Genocide only the Tutsi and
Moderate Hutu.
Comparing and
Contrasting the
Genocides

All of these genocides happened in different
continents
I consider all three of these to be genocides because
they fit the 8 stages of genocide.
Suppression of the minority is the people who are
destroyed in these genocides.
They all happened in different times
Different amount of money spent on each genocide

Contrasting Cont.
