_____Christian: I'm a English poet/writer, i falls in love with the terminally-ill star of the Moulin
Rouge,cabaret actress Satine. In the year 1900, i am depress because of Satines death and begins
writing on my typewriter. A year before that i moved to the Montmartre district of Paris to
become a writer among members of the areas Bohemian movement.
Satine ( the main character in the story, who is similar character (Violetta) in the La traviata : I
am a star courtesan in Moulin Rouge. I once believe that only money can make my life
better,however, i fell in love with Christian, a poor writer and my life change forever.

__La traviata is an opera in three acts by Giuseppe Verdi set to an Italian libretto by Francesco
Maria Piave. For Verdi, the years 1851 to 1853 were filled with operatic activity. The plot of
Moulin Rouge is very much like the opera called La travita written by Giuseppe Verdi. The
opera is about Violetta Valry, a famed courtesan,, throws a great party at her Paris salon and she
met Gastone, a count, has brought with him a friend, the young nobleman Alfredo Germont, who
has long adored Violetta from afar. They fell in love,however, Alfredos father intrudes on their
idyllic existence in the country and, although realizing her sincerity, persists in his demand that
Violetta renounce Alfredo. At the end, Violetta dies in Alfredos arms.

___I I think this song express a very strong emotion. Each time either of them sings this song,
they can secretly declare their equally deep and true romantic love for each other. This song
shows Satine and Christians love are very strong and would not defeated.
