H1N1 Flu School-Based Vaccination Clinics

The Cayuga County Health Department would like to notify the public of upcoming
H1N1 Flu school-based vaccination clinics. The Health Department has worked with
Cayuga County School Districts to schedule these clinics. At this time a clinic is
scheduled for each school district. Based on vaccine supply clinics may need to be
rescheduled.

The 2009 H1N1 Flu school-based clinics schedule:

11/12 - Moravia School District (2:30pm-8pm)


Moravia High School Board of Education Room

11/16 – Cato-Meridian School District (2:30pm-8pm)


Cato Middle School Gymnasium

11/16 – Auburn Elementary Schools (3:30pm-8pm)


Seward Elementary School Gymnasium

11/17 – Weedsport School District (2:30pm-8pm)


Weedsport High School Cafeteria

11/17 – Southern Cayuga School District (2:30pm-8pm)


Southern Cayuga High School Cafeteria

11/18 – Port Byron School District (2:30pm-8pm)


Port Byron High School Auditorium

11/18 – Union Springs School District (2:30pm-8pm)

11/19 – Auburn Middle Schools and High School (2:30pm-8pm)

Clinics are for children Pre-K – 12th grade. Students wanting the H1N1 vaccine must
attend the clinic being held for their school district. Children attending Parochial or
Private Schools in Cayuga County can attend the clinic in their home district.

There is no pre-registration necessary for these clinics. The necessary consent forms and
vaccine information sheets will be available at each clinic for the child’s parent or
guardian to review and sign. Vaccine information sheets and an example of the vaccine
consent form are available to view on the Cayuga County Health Department website.

School districts will be sending out more information regarding each clinic. If a clinic
needs to be rescheduled parents will be notified via the school district notification
method. The cancellation will also be posted on the Cayuga County Health Department
website.
