ABOUT THE PROJECT
We will gather 32 youth workers and youth leaders from Armenia,
Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Check Republic,
Italy, Turkey, Slovenia and Croatia.

We will use the methods of non-formal education during the whole
period of the project, in particular simulation, role play, small
group discussions and plenary, ice-breaking games, evaluation
activities, brainstorming, facilitated discussions, open space
workshops and forum theatre.

We will encourage active participation from our participants in
preparation, implementation and evaluation of the project.
MAIN GOAL:

Strengthening cooperation among
EVS experienced organizations in
order to promote the development
of new projects related to the topic.






LOCATION: YEREVAN
YEREVAN

Yerevan is the capital and largest city of Armenia and one of the
world's oldest continuously inhabited cities. Yerevan is the
administrative, cultural, and industrial center of the country. It has
been the capital since 1918, the thirteenth in the history of
Armenia.



HOSTEL

Participants will stay in the hostel JRs House which is
located 3 minutes to the metro station, and around 15
minutes walk to the center of the city.
Hostels facilities: outdoor area, Wi-Fi, towels, fully
equipment kitchen, hair-dryers

- belong to EVS accredited organization or organization which is in the process of accreditation
- able to represent and speak on behalf of the organization

VISA
Reimbursement will be done in EUR, regardless of the currency indicated on the ticket and receipt/invoice. Any
tickets purchased in a local currency other than EUR, will then be converted and calculated according to the
exchange rate of the month.
Please check travel budget limits above. If travel costs exceed the amount budgeted in the project, the organizers
will only be able to reimburse participants 70% of the maximum travel costs indicated in the travel budget.
Participants are therefore strongly advised to book trip travel well in advance.

EU citizens as well as citizens of Georgia and Moldovado not need visas to enter
Armenia.
Citizens of Turkey can get the visa on the border and it costs about 6 euro for
short stay (21 days). Participants from Turkey, who hold GREEN (DIPLOMATIC)
passports,should contact us in advance to make an Invitation Letter for them.






HOW TO GET TO YEREVAN
IF YOU ARRIVE TO
YEREVAN AIRPORT:

The participants landing in
Yerevan will be picked up by the
organizers.

IF YOU ARRIVE TO TBILISI
AIRPORT:

We can arrange a bus for you from the airport to
Yerevan. It depends how many people will travel to
Tbilisi.
If not you can get to Yerevan with busses or shared
taxis. Cost of ticket is 30 GEL (15 EUR).

ADVICE:
The best and cheapest way to come to
Armenia from is to take a flight to Yerevan
(Armenia) or Tbilisi (Georgia).

IF YOU ARRIVE TO
KUTAISI AIRPORT:

You have to take bus to Tbilisi (cost 20
GEL).





WHAT TO BRING
DOCUMENTS


Collect the documents for the Reimbursement:

Tickets (there must be price and name of the
person stated on it).
Boarding passes (in case of loss please get a
confirmation from the airlines, that the flight was
taken)
Invoices yes, even if you have a ticket, our
accounting still needs an INVOICE.

CULTURAL EVENING

Local food, fruits, non-alcoholic
drinks and other things that might
be useful to present your culture
(costumes, music instruments,
games, etc.)





WHO WE ARE:
The staff of APY has been working in NGO and youth field for 5-6 years in different organizations. 3 years
ago we have created our new organization. APY promotes active participation in civic life and active
citizenship as well as Intercultural Communication and Intercultural Learning. In 3 years APY stuff has
implemented and facilitated about 15 projects under YiA Programme and acted as a promoter in many
projects. We successfully implement European Voluntary Service (EVS) and have Volunteers from different
European countries.

WEATHER:
Armenia is usually referred to as a sunny country. Its
climate ranges from dry subtropical to cold. The
mountain peaks are covered with eternal snow, while
their slopes are lined by alpine meadows. More info:
