Organization Study is the systematic and methodical study of organizational functions, with a view to carefully apply the
knowledge of how people act and how processes are carried out within organizations. It refers to the complete
understanding of an organization in all dimensions. Organizational study will help the students to understand clearly the
subjects taught in the class. Usually one month is spent in an organization as part of internship. his helps the students to
study about business organizations and also enable them to locate problems and opportunities. In an Organizational
Study, the main focus is to understand clearly the processes, functions and activities of various departments of the
organization.

)( Students may identify company for the study and make arrangements on their own, to conduct and complete
the study. #reference shall be for work done outside the state. #rojects may be done outside India as well, if
the student desires.
*( #rojects are to be done on individual basis only. 1ot more than 2 students will be allowed to do the work in the
same organization, as the report produced may tend to be identical and can affect their university marks for
the OS report.
+( Once the company is identified, students must communicate to the faculty guide through the $oodle page
news forum link, created by the faculty guide. his must be targeted to be done, before the students leave the
campus for their study.
,( Students must convey the contact details (3ompany name and address, name of the person, e4mail, mobile,
company phone+ of the company guide to the faculty guide, who is identified to provide them guidance in their
work in the organization, as soon as they report to the company for the work through e4mail or phone. hese
details are to be provided in the first report to be uploaded in the $oodle, as well.
-( Once these details are provided, faculty guide must contact the company guide and establish communication
periodically to ensure that the student is progressing on the work assigned to him 5 her.
.( 6eekly progress report is to be submitted to guide through $oodle. 6eekly report should state clearly with the
headings7 (a+ asks and activities done (b+ 8earning from the Organization (c+ asks pending to be done (d+
#rogress being made on the OS (e+ .ny other information
/( .ll students to obtain their certificates of completion of OS from the respective organization, before returning to
the college.
0( .fter completion, students to discuss the draft with the guide, about the presentation and preparation of report
'1( #resentation of OS to be done by each student highlighting 3ritical Issues, 9rief .nalysis and #ractical
.ctions, to a faculty panel, to be held in the month of :uly.
''( he draft report is to be submitted within -0 days of presentation.
')( !inal report submission date will be announced by the coordinator.
'*( .ll university re)uirements to be followed while submitting the report.
'+( 2 copies to be submitted by each student.(; one personal copy+
',( Standard format for the reports as per approved template must be followed.
