1- Learning condition:
: es Traine - 1.1
In this class there are eight trainees.
The trainees already have done the diploma degree at the technical colleges
around the '' KSA''. The trainees taught ''PLC'' in the diploma and they did
some practical work on this subject.
There are many methods we can use them in the lesson, in this lesson I will
use different methods such as lecturing, classroom conversation, placemat
and individual work.

Classroom: - 1.2
Every class need some materials, in this class the trainees must bring a
pencil, pen and notebook.
In this class I will do the placemat method, this method needs a specific
materials big sheets and markers.
There are no experiments in this class.
I need time to prepare my lesson and the materials; also I need to make a
request to some materials from the electrical department.

College: - 1.3
This lesson can be done in a normal classroom, no need for lap or workshop.
The organization for this lesson must be a day before, the materials should be
requested day before the lesson, but the preparation can be in the same day
of the lesson. Check the PowerPoint, big sheets and the marker also.

2- Didactic Reflection:
Curriculum Analysis: - 2.1
The name of this course is '' Programmable Control Technology'' the code is
(ELT 205). The total hours for this course are 3 hours, 2 hours Lectures, 1
hour practical and on hours for tutorial in this course.
This course presents applied and experimental study for logic circuits and the
programmable logic controller.
It also enables the trainee to draw the control circuits and programs the PLC
using the program required for industrial applications. It also trains the
trainees to test and maintain control circuits.
The lesson aims to teach the trainees the construction of the PLC and the
fundamentals of its operation. It also presents the application of the PLC in
different industrial areas. That is the general objective of this lesson.
The behavioral objective of this lesson is:
The trainees should be able to understand the control circuits used in
industrial applications and recognize the construction of the PLC and its
fundamentals.
The lesson focuses on the basics in PLC and the construction of the PLC
also the fundamentals of its operation.

Content Analysis: - 2 - 2
The PLC is stander of '' Programmable Logical Controller''. The theory of
PLC'S work is: if the signal be arrived in the input point the LOGO gives a
signal in the output point, we can say that the PLC is an '' Electro digital
device. This lesson is the gate or the basic for ''PLC's'' world. We have many
types of ''PLCs'' like ''STEP.7'' and '' MICROCONTROL'' This lesson talks
about the basic type of the ''PLC'' the ''LOGO''.

This type is the simplest type of the PLCs. This lesson talks about the
construction and the function of this type, also talks about where we use it and
how we use it and the benefits of use it.
Before this lesson the trainees must have specific knowledge to able them to
understand the lesson very well also to make the lesson easy to apply in the
practical field. The trainees must know the number system and the conversion

between the types of number system, also they should analyze the language
of the PLCs.
This lesson focused on the basics of PLC (LOGO) such as: introduction about
it and the parts of it (input unit, output unit and CPU (central processing unit)
also the uses of the PLC.

In this lesson I will explain how to connect the LOGO to the electrical sours.
The trainees will draw the connection on the paper and identify the input
points and the output points.

.This content is a very relevant to the trainees because the trainees study
electrical engineering and they should know about the PLC because the PLC
is a main part from them study plan also it is very important in the real life.
The PLC is the foundation of the control circuits, trainees must know how to
control the electrical circuits.
Before my lesson there are content must be given to the trainees. The
trainees should take the number system and they must know this lesson very
well and what are the differences between them also what are the system of
the PLC, also the have to know the logic gates the basics and the secondary.
How to identify the type of the logic gate in different ways.
After this lesson also there is an important content like the types of the PLC
programmable (LAD, STL, CSF) the trainees should take them all and apply
them on the computer also. The basic function like (latch function, set/reset
function, timers)

.

nalysis: Didactic A - 3 . 2
This lesson is basic in PLC word but it is an important for the trainees who
study electrical engineering for those who want to train after the college or
work in some industries or factories also if anyone wants to complete the
studying. In these days the PLC is very dependable almost in all factories and
industries. In this lesson there is not practical work because it is a basic and
introduction.
In this lesson there is no practical activity, because this lesson is basic and
introduction for PLC.
Methodology Analysis: - 2.4
In this lesson I use different methods to deliver the knowledge in a good way
to the trainees.
I use less lecture that the previous lessons, also there is a classroom
conversation during the lesson and the quiz at the end represents the
individual work in the lesson.
I use a new method in this lesson (PLACEMAT) method.
This lesson contains a PowerPoint, whiteboard, exercise sheet and quiz
sheet.
