ACTIVITY 1:ORGANIZATION
T greets Ps and checks if everybody is present

Aim: to get Ps familiarized with the topic

T tells Ps they`re going to talk about friendship today
T shows Ps some famous quotes about friendship

Aim: to get Ps express their opinions

ACTIVITY 4: SOLVING A QUESTIONNAIRE
T tells Ps to look at the advertisement and the accompanying questionnaire
T asks Ps who published the questionnaire, what the purpose of this questionnaire is
Ps are given the questionnaire and they mark their answers
In pairs, Ps find out their partner`s answers by asking the questions in the questionnaire

ACTIVITY 5:BRAINSTORMING
Aim: to select specific information from a text in order to accomplish a task
To give arguments for their choices

T tells Ps to imagine they are from Hands Across the World organization and they`re going to find a penfriend
for some children
T puts Ps in groups of 4-5 and tells them to look at the fact files.T explains Ps that these are children who have
written to Hands Across the World.
T tells Ps they should look at the answers to their questionnaires and choose who would be most suitable for each
member of the group to write to
