Which hard drive brands and models are approved for use with the ix2 and ix2-dl?
Answer

The following drive brands and models have been tested for functional compatibility with the ix2 and ix2-dl devices and LifeLine software and are supported for use.
Always observe the important information at the end of this article whenever adding or replacing hard disks on your ix2 device. See Answer ID 31937 for instructions on
how to install hard drives in your ix2.
NOTE: This article applies only to ix2 network storage devices running LifeLine version 3.3 or above. It does not apply to older ix2 devices running LifeLine 2.0, or to the
ix2-200 and ix2-200 Cloud Edition devices. The hard drives listed below are not qualified for use with these older devices.

Same capacity
Mixed disk configurations may result in unpredictable device behavior and will not be supported. If you need technical assistance, please be prepared to backup
your data and remove any unsupported drives or configurations.
