6. Removable Walls Allow Easy Access to Foundation
With drywall, it can be difcult to access your foundation walls. Basement
foundation walls were simply not designed to be permanently covered
up. First, there can be water problems in a basement caused by storms,
foundation cracks, humidity, and indoor plumbing. If you fnish a basement
with drywall, there could be mold growing on the back side, and there may
be no way to know. Also, drywall blocks access to address plumbing and
electrical issues that can arise.

removable, which allows for access to the foundation. If there is ever any
issue, simply remove the wall, address it, and put the wall back in place. This
