Youth and Politics

YOUTH HAVE TO TAKE PART IN POLITICS to prosper our country .Youth too have a zeal to do
something to our Morocco, to change the systems that have failed to work, to abolish
poverty, corruption, corrupted politics, etc and make it to be remained as an IDEAL
COUNTRY in this world.
There are many aspects in our country, as Ii mentioned above like-poverty, corruption,
politics, crimes, rural developments, etc which have to be changed. And all these can be
changed only when the right person has the POWER in his hands. And we all know that, the
POWER can be gained only through POLITICS. Thats why every young person who is not
satisfied with the present situation to participate in politics in order to make of his area,
particularly, and country as a whole the kind of place he/she dreams of.
Nevertheless, here the problem is not that they are not given a chance but the actual
problem is with the way they think. Today any student wants to settle well in his life, enjoy
life, and donate something if he can. But no one is showing interest in joining in political
parties.
Since youth are the future, they need to be involved in decision making. They should be in
the heart of the most complicated issues so that they can get experienced. Governments
have to give them greater consideration so that they can have all their rights.
In a nutshell, we need to change our view about youngsters as being immature and
unreliable and try to see them as full flesh people who can lead our planet and take
decisions concerning our life and that of our children.

Women and power
Women have an activate role in society.They are full of energy.They work day after day
in order to improve and develop their society.They have also a strong will to realize and
achieve their goals and objectives.
Indeed,women have a greater role to maintain peace and harmony in life.This shows that
women have strong views,aspirations and dreams.They want to make changes and
differences also to play a part in shaping the future they dream about it.
Women engage and participate in all domains such as:politic,economic,social and other
important fields.Thanks to their willingness and patience,they succeed gradually in the
process of development,they always prove themselves and show their abilities and talents
which are endless.
Now,nobody can deny the importance roles that have been played by women .They work
honestly for instance their participation in political life.Women try to issue more laws to be
egalitarian in terms of sexual equality,they realize that responsibility must be shared at
home,ine the family,in the educational sphere and finally in the workplaces.Moreover they
involve in political parties to describe the problems of today's society in an intersting way
and provide innovative solutions.Even if the majority of men attempted a lot to marginalize
women because they considered her as a machine to produce children and to be either a
slave or a maid in men's houses,but women show that they are able to face and solve all
problems and they never lose control emotionally or intelectually.
Also,her engagement in economical life has made plenty of changes because they always
look for the best not for themselves but for their society ,so they can change their country
and make it better and better.
Furthermore,women speed up the rate of economic developement ,consequently they
create new job opportunities to improve the bad situation of youth,especially those who are
graduated .They are full of energy but they don't find enough opportunities to apply what
they have have learned during their studies.
At the social level ,women have made a revolution,they are mobilizing to chane what
happen around them by creationg associations to serve and help their community which
contains :poor,ill and handicapped people who need special care.They ameliorates the basic
needs of various types such as:food,medicines,housing,education...
As a result,women win all chalenges with flying colours, they worked and they still working
to be the boss in all domains,simply because they strongly believe in their capacities and
trust themselves,consequently ,women grow up day after day ,achieve their dreams and
compete globally.
To sum up ,women have a wider participation in all domains ,they share higher positions
with her partner. For woman ,there are no obstacles which can hinder her and stop her
carrer which is full of succees.
Sustainable development
We need to develop and progress without depriving the coming generations of their chances
to lead a happy and bright life. These are the words that really summarize the meaning of
sustainable development. The latter is only achieved at three levels, social, economic and
environmental. For this reason, Morocco has launched the Atanmiya Al Basharia which
aims at creating a shift at all levels.
As we can see that our country is facing many threats and challenges and it will be so
difficult to live a decent life. Hence, having a good life necessitates a strong economy,which
depends on the raw materials and the environmental resources which are necessary for
good living standards. This constitutes the cycle that sustainable development target.
It would be nonsense if we focus on one level at the expense of the two others.
Development can mean an overall progress at all levels without excluding any of them.
Consequently, this requires sensible strategies that should be implemented and carried out
to fight poverty, illiteracy and pollution. In addition to that, all citizens must be concerned
about it because it is a global interest.
Organizations NGOs
Sometimes, governments feel helpless and can do nothing to solve out many issues or they
feel unable to manage, finance and provide the necessities to help figure out some troubles.
At this stage come comes the role of NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations).
So how can these bodies play crucial roles in development?
Some association and organizations, whatever their domains of interest are, can be so useful
in helping solve many complicated issues and mainly adult illiteracy. They can give evening
classes to adults and teach them the ABCs of writing and reading. Moreover, living in an area
presupposes that one is aware of its problems and obstacles. The organization knows what
the needs and potentials of their area are and how to use them for the benefits of the
population. More than that, some rich bodies can finance projects and suggest programmes
which can contribute to the welfare of people.
All in all, we need to volunteer in all types of bodies to take part in the development of our
country and give a hand to our government for the welfare of our generation and the
coming ones.
Citizenship
A citizen is a person who lives in a country and belongs to it. His citizenship offers him rights
and charges him some duties. So what are these rights and duties? And how can one be a
good citizen?
Maybe the first right we can talk about is that of education. Once being six years old, the
government is obliged to provide schooling and education to the child for free. The country
takes in charge all the expenses including paying teachers and school equipments to ensure
a good schooling till the child is sixteen, when the time of compulsory education ends.
Another right might be the right to express oneself freely and in public. One has the right to
say what he thinks of the current issues without worrying anything. Maybe the last right in
the list of right is the right of having our rights and liberties protected.
As far as duties are concerned, we can say that every citizen must abide by the law and carry
out his responsibilities. The duty to protect the nation and maintain its stability in case of
war is the first of all. Then, comes the duty to vote in elections .
There are many criteria we should fulfill to be good citizens. We have to take part in the
activities in our area and be involved in every thing that might help promote it. Volunteering
is another dimension according to which we can show our citizenship. To be a member of an
association can have great impact on our personality and, therefore, on our country since it
will result in good effects.
Being a citizen includes both rights and duties. We need to do our best to be good ones and
teach the coming generations how they can be useful citizens.
The gift of youth
Youth is the most flourishing period of human beings life. It is characterized by energy,
perseverance and enthusiasm. The majority of the Moroccan population is under the age of
25. Youth is considered as the vital source of a country that can guarantee its development
and continuity. They are the present and future. Therefore, much attention should be given
to them.
Now more than ever before, the involvement of young people is necessary in making this
world a better place to live in. they need to be given the chance to express themselves . They
can effectively participate in developing their country and surrounding thanks to their
creative ideas.
Thanks to the qualities they have. Young people can have vital roles in ensuring the progress.
They are ambitious and optimistic to reach fundamental aims regardless of the obstacles
that might face them in the course of time.
Giving them the opportunity and believing in them will certainly make of them active
members in society ,able to bring out change at any moment.
Humour
Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you cry alone. This statement invites us to
laugh and be happy and make people around us feel that way because by doing this we will
bright. Meanwhile, it recommends us not to be sad or weep since by doing this we will suffer
alone and no one will join us in our grief. So why do all people look for happiness and
humour and try their best to avoid sadness?
Humour can have many positive effects on us. First, it can make us forget all our hardship
and suffering during our life. Without it life would seem unbearable and unworthy to live.
Humour is that sweet thing that has the ability to make of every moment of our life bright
and eternal.
Moreover, laughter is a good exercise for our hearts and body. Some scientists argue that
laughing can make a considerable number of muscles move more than crying does. It helps
blood circulate easily through our body and ensures a moderate blood tension.

To see how much huomur is essential ,just drop it out of your life for some time and then
you will see how dull you become.
We need to draw a smile on our faces at least twice a day to keep a sound health and a
happy life.
Cultural differences (different doesnt mean wrong)
We are living in a world made of many nations which have their own cultures and which are
basically different from ours. Every community has behavious, traditions, customs and
beliefs that differentiate it from other cultures. Nevertheless, some people take these
differences as a sign of superiority.
No culture is superior to another. Being different doesnt necessarily mean inferior or wrong.
We may view some behaviours as normal or abnormal to us depending on its commonness
in our culture. That is to say, if we have the same behaviours we tend to accept them and
take them as normal. Whereas, if they are different, we give value judgment about them as
being wrong or even primitive.
Misunderstandings are the result of viewing another culture using our culture and with the
expectation that it is similar to ours.
To avoid such things we have to respect and accept the others. Tolerance is so important
here. We must be aware of the cross-cultural similarities and differences to live in a world of
harmony.
Empowering Women
Women have been enduring a low status in society. They were considered as properties
belonging to men. But this story of struggling and fighting has yielded to getting far-reached
rights and higher positions in society.
It is true that Islam has urged us to value women and give them the decent status they
deserve. Through the Hadith of the prophet (pbuh) where he asks us to take care of women
and give them the highest position even better than mens. Islam considers women as the
school in which the generations are reared. It is strongly believed that if you teach a boy
then you teach a future man, but if you teach a girl then you teach a whole generation.
According to the latest Moroccan statistics, women constitute more than 50% of the whole
population. Hence, if they are put aside then Morocco is deprived of the services and
potentials of the majority of its population.
Furthermore, women are said to be more creative than men in some jobs where human
communication is needed such as in the job of receptionists. The ability of women to
manage their incomes is higher than that of men. They are always preoccupied with how to
make both ends meet.
Last but not least, we have been living in a patriarchal society for so long and what we are
living in of good or bad conditions are the fruit of mens deeds; so why not give the women a
try and let them manage this world. Maybe we can witness great positive effects.
Technology
The history of Man has been the history of looking for ways to improve the daily life and
overcome the challenges. This justifies the saying which goes as Necessity is the mother of
invention. For this reason, humans have invented many mighty machines and means to
reach their aims. Yet, this technology has caused much harm to us, animals and
environment.
As any thing in this world, technology has both positive effects as well as drawbacks. We will
focus more on the second point as it is the matter under question. Road accidents caused by
vehicles lead to high number of causalities. Adding to that the work accidents are of the
fatal disadvantages of using technology in industry. We often hear of electric shocks or
machine-blastings.
Pollution is another direct effect of technology. The smoke released from chimneys of
factories and firms contributes to the increase of CO2 in the air and makes of our
environment a difficult one to live in.
The extinction of some species or some others which are endangered due to pollution is
surely due to the side effects of pollution. This biodiversity, which is in danger, seems be
largely infected and, hence, all the system will be damaged.
It is true that we need to develop. But cant we do this without harming the environment
and ourselves. We should be cautious about our deeds and their results before it is late. It is
high time we reacted.
