Here is how I did it:

Autorun, click "Install Abaqus Product & Licensing"

"Continue" on prompt for Documentation.

Under Installation type, choose "License".

host ip: 127.0.0.1

Choose "Install and start.."

Browse for the lincense (.dat) file in the crackfolder.

Continue on "license file not valid..."

Choose where to install the license server.

When complete browse to installation folder/License, run lmtools.exe

In tab "configure services", set path to lmgrd.exe (in license folder) and to the abq6101.dat which you should copy to
the installation folder. You have to filetype to look for (to .dat) when you browse for it. Check "Use services" and
"Start server at power up" if you don't want to start it manually each time.

Click save Service.

In tab Start/stop/reread click "Start server".

Return to the installation and install the main programme.

Use "27011@127.0.0.1" as License server 1.

You will probably need to allow some traffic through your firewall during the hoel process.


the procedure installation is :

0. install HTML documentation first.
1. edit Crack\license.dat (from CD1)
change pc-name to your pc-name
save license.dat to a temporary folder eg: c:\new folder

2. set System Environment Variables (in Control Panel-->System-->Advanced-->Environment
Variables)
Variable name : LM_license_FILE
variable value: 27000@your pc-name

3. Install Abaqus license server, select "just install licensing utilities"
3.1 copy and paste license.dat from the temporary folder to c:\ABAQUS\license\
3.2 use lmtools.exe to config the license-server
Service/license File-->Tick the Configuration using Services option
Config Services tab -->Service Name-->type in any name eg: abaqus
Path to the lmgrd.exe file--> C:\ABAQUS\license\lmgrd.exe
Path to the license file----> C:\ABAQUS\license\license.dat
Path to the debug log file--> C:\ABAQUS\license\license.log
tick Use Service option
tick Satrt Server at Power Up
Clic Save service button --> clic Yes
3.3 Start/Stop/Reread
clic Start Server button to start up the license-server
3.4 Server Diags
clic Perform Diagnostics to see if the license-server is up and running O.K.


4. Install Abaqus Products --> input 27000@your pc-name when asked for a license server.

5. copy exec\* to <installdir>\exec

1. Setup
2. Next (Beginning with the installation of Microsoft Visual C++)
3. Next (ignore the view installating and license guide)
4. Pick license dan Next
5. You are asked to fill in the hostname, then continue with Next. (Fill in the
hostname with your computers name. You can see the computer name by right
click the mouse on the Computer folder select properties)
6. Pick just install licensing utilities
7. Next
8. Next
9. Done Installing Abaqus license complete
10. Thus, Back to the Folder ABAQUS software packets in the explorer. Copy and
paste the crack file abq6101.dat to the folder c:\SIMULIA\license\, right click on
abq6101.dat select edit (use Notepad), replace this_host with your computer
name, and save.
11. Use lmtools.exe (C:\SIMULIA\License\lmtools.exe) or Licensing Utilities (Start
Menu >> Abaqus Licensing >> licensing utilities) to set license-server

13. Pick tab Config Services
14. fill in the fields as shown above. Service name: Flexlm Service 1 (default)
Path to the lmgrd.exe > C:\SIMULIA\license\lmgrd.exe
Path to the license > C:\SIMULIA\license\abq6101.dat
Path to the debug log file C:\SIMULIA\license\abq6101.log (if the log file does not
exist, you should create (use Notepad) or copy paste from log folder then rename)
Press Save Service
15. Pick tab Start/Stop/Reread and click Start Server button to start up license-server
(license-server set complete)
16. Return to the installation. Would you like to install Abaqus product? Select Yes
and Next
17. Fill license server with 27011@USER (replace USER with your computer name)
then Next
18. Determine the location of Docs, Next
19. Done (ABAQUS Install process is completed)
