The XXA centrifugal fan is designed and built to meet the
following requirements:
Maximum silence (30-50 dB(A) depending on model)
Minimum bulk
Maximum reliability.
- It is made up of an acoustically insulated casing and centrifugal
fan with a direct drive motor.
- The self-supporting structure of the casing is made up of
galvanised steel sheet. Acoustic insulation is provided by a 50
mm layer of soundproofing material. The upper panel, which is
screwed to the box, is also used as the inspection hatch for the
fan.
- The direct drive, backward curved blade centrifugal fan is
powered by a single-phase IP44/IP20, class B motor, supported
in the centre of an inlet cone by means of an adequate support
caging and anti-vibration pads. Galvanised steel scroll, fan and
motor supporting cage guarantee good resistance to corrosion.
The fan is fixed to the frame via anti-vibration joints. A forward
curved blade, double inlet, direct drive centrifugal fan with is
used for 355, 400 and 450 sizes.
