Henry Cisneros in 1999
A 501(c)6 and a 501(c)3 national organization dedicated to
accelerating the socio-economic progress of American
Latinos by amalgamating, galvanizing, leveraging and
growing the Latino economic capital, political capital, human
capital and philanthropic power personified by our members
Flagship economic initiatives have earned the NAA and
many of our members stellar recognition establishing the
organization as a sphere of influence in the financial
services space
As a direct result of these efforts, the NAA has created a
more hospitable, receptive environment for Latino leaders
and businesses
AN AMERICAN LATINO
BUSINESS INITIATIVE
The NAA membership is comprised of 100 prominent
American Latino entrepreneurs and leaders across the
country, committed to giving back to the community, with
nearly 50 percent leading businesses in financial
services and institutional asset management
We aggregate our NAA members' success, experience,
relationships and passion to give back as we promote the
advancement of the Latino community and prosperity for
all in our nation
NAA members leverage their influence to:
Promote Latino leadership in entrepreneurship,
corporate America, and public service
Increase Latino access and control of capital
Invest in human capital to improve educational
achievement and develop future Latino business

5. We do not hold ourselves out as acting on behalf of the NAA unless authorized to do so.

9. We build bridges with others who share our goal of advancing the American Latino community.
10. We endeavor to avoid public criticism or censure of other Latinos on issues relating to the
advancement of the American Latino community.

General Membership American Latino professionals, entrepreneurs, business leaders - $10,000 per year
Associate Membership Non Latino professionals, entrepreneurs, business leaders - $7,500 per year;
Additional executives of firms already in our General & Associate membership - $5,000 per year
Young Leader National Membership Young Latino leaders age 35 and under who are rising stars in their fields and have
demonstrated an ongoing commitment to advancing the Latino community - $2,500 per year
Non-Profit Membership High-ranking non-profit executives, senior staff, or individuals who serve on non profit boards -
$2,500 per year
Emerging Leader Regional Membership Local membership in New York and Los Angeles for Latino leaders age 35 and
under - $1,000 per year

Launched in 2011, the NAA Emerging Leader
Regional Membership is a local membership in New
York and Los Angeles
NAA Emerging Leaders are developing careers in
entrepreneurship, corporate management, public
service, academia and the non-profit sector, and are up
to 35 years of age
They are rising stars in their communities and
professions, and are committed to advancing
themselves and the Latino community
In addition to continued interface with the NAA national
membership through working committees, Emerging
Leaders present quarterly networking events with a
purpose in NY and LA such as motivational lectures,
mentorship roundtables, and other programs relevant to
the NAA mission and their interests.

Within our Economic Capital agenda, our Pension Fund
Initiative works with public and private pension funds, and
legislators to advance diversity as follows:
Increase the participation of Latino trustees,
executives and investment professionals
in the U.S. Pension System
Increase access to capital for Latino entrepreneurs
by increasing capital allocation to Latino and minority
private equity & venture firms
Expand utilization of Latino and minority asset
management, brokerage, and advisory firms
Support the engagement of investment advisors and
consultants with a commitment and track record of

Launched in September 2012, the American Latino
National Summit purpose is to define to the nation who
we are as American Latinos; what our contributions are to
our country in terms of economic capital, human capital
and political capital; and articulate cohesive positions on
the major issues of our times as they relate to the
American Latino community and our nation, with an
overarching emphasis on the economic case for Latino
advancement
Co-hosted with the Hispanic Association on Corporate
Responsibility (HACR), the National Association of Latino
Elected Officials (NALEO), the National Council of La
Raza (NCLR), and the United States Hispanic Chamber
of Commerce (USHCC)
The American Latino Agenda Report 2012, presented
by NAA and Miami Dade College, was presented with
content contributions from Univision, HACR, NALEO,
Immigration Policy Center, and Edwin Gould Foundation.

NAA members, business leaders and advocates convened in
our nations capital in J une 2013 at a dinner and a press
conference in support of immigration reform, followed by
meetings with Members of Congress who are essential in
moving immigration legislation forward.
We are joining in a united voice as we deliver a resounding
statement to the nation's elected leadership on the value of
immigration as an engine for economic prosperity.

NAA ANGELS
The NAA Angels will be comprised of NAA members involved in various sectors including
founders of venture capital firms, private equity firms, funds of funds and businesses in other
industries who provide investment capital, strategic advice and mentoring to early-stage
technology companies founded by minorities to help them achieve market leadership.
The mission of the NAA Angel network is three-fold:
To represent the principles of the NAA in promoting access to capital to the growing
generation of Latino technology leaders
To grow the base of Latinos and other minorities leading the technology revolution, and
To provide members an outstanding financial return on their time commitment and
invested capital
The NAA Leadership Institute is a fellowship program delivered by an NAA member and
network faculty, based on the NAAs overarching principle of fostering Latino progress based on
the Alliances four areas of engagement: human capital, economic capital, political capital and
strategic philanthropy
OBJECTIVES:
To inspire, nurture and empower a new generation of Latino leaders to excel and reach their
highest aspirations
To help them grow their own economic capital, political capital, human capital and strategic
philanthropy for the greater good as well as for personal advancement
To imbue a new generation of Latino leaders with NAA values fueling their desire to participate,
lead and give back
