Dealing with the issues of life, using the

word of God
What is the word of God?

1. It is the sword of the spirit (Ephesians 6:17)

2. It is the shield of defense (Psalm 91:4)
3. It is like a hammer (Jeremiah 23:29)
4. It is like fire (Jeremiah 23:29)
5. It is life (John 6:63)
6. It is a spirit (John 6:63)
7. It is sharper than two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12)
8. It is referred to as water (Ephesians 5:26; Isaiah 55:10, 11)

Its applications:

1. You can use the word to quench the fire of life as water, if you believe.
2. You can use the word to create what you want, since it is life and spirit.
3. You can use it as a defense against sicknesses and diseases or wicked forces, since it is
a shield.
4. You can use the word to destroy satanic powers and demonic atmospheric designs,
since it is like a hammer.
5. You can draw hope from the word, since it is referred to as water.
6. You can also use the word of God to solve the mathematics of life, the riddles of life,
or the hard sentences of life, since it makes wise the simple (Psalm 19:7).

Note:

You can reverse ugly situations with God’s word, creating what you want by prophesying
your demand (Mark 11:23; Micah 6:1; Genesis 1:1-3; Matthew 12:37; Job 6:25; Luke
21:15)

You are a co-creator with God. As you say it; God does it (Numbers 14:28; Isaiah 44:26).
Angels commit themselves to bringing to pass what you declare relating to the word of
God (Psalm 103:23, 24).

Your words are life that creates good things in the visible (Hebrews 11:1-3) and words of
death to create ugly situations, if they are negatively spoken (Proverbs 18:21; James 3:1-
6).

The essence of maturity

Hebrews 5:12-14
Your creative result or output is proportional to your level of maturity in the word of
God. The faith to do things extraordinarily is released or drawn from the word of God
(Romans 10:17).

Faith is the spiritual currency with which you can translate the invisible things to the
visible (Hebrews 11:3).

How to use God’s word

1. What do you want? What is the case on ground?

2. Get the equivalent word for it (Isaiah 34:16)
3. Meditate on it until the revelation thereof erupts from it like a volcano by the virtue of
divine understanding (2 peter 1:19).
4. Access all it has for you in there- instructions if any.
5. Act by what you understand from it or do what it commands.
6. Wait for the result (Proverbs 24:13, 14).

The dimensions of God’s word

These are the dimensions by which God’s word operates.

a. Faith dimension (Romans 10:17; Deuteronomy 8:3; Romans 1:17). We live in the spirit
victoriously only by the revealed word of God.

Faith is seeing the end of the journey before beginning it. Until you see it, you can’t say it
correctly. And until you say it correctly, you can’t have it. You can only act by faith by
what you see in the spirit. Jesus knew this (John 5:19, 30). (Read my book on

b. Wisdom dimension (Proverbs 2:1-7; Ecclesiastes 7:11, 12, 19; Proverbs 24:3-6, 10, 13,
14; Mark 6:2)

Wisdom is the creative force of God (Proverbs 3:19; Psalm 104:24). Wisdom and power
are contained in the word of God (John 1:1-3, 14; 1 Corinthians 1:24).

God’s word produces faith and it also produces wisdom. Faith and wisdom work
together. Wisdom shows you what to do and how to do it; faith moves you to do it. It
gives you the eyes of possibility over apparent impossibilities.

The operational boosters

1. Love (Galatians 5:6; 1 John 2:7-11; 3:14-17)

What love does

a. Love keeps your spirit alive in God.
b. Love keeps the door of revelation open (2 Peter 1:5-11).
c. Love brings, sustains and increases God’s presence in your life (Ephesians 3:17-19).
God’s presence is spiritual backbone for supernatural operation.

2. God’s presence (Mark 16:20).

3. Boldness (Acts 14:3).
4. Positive mindset (believing only) (Mark 5:36-42).
5. Righteousness (Micah 2:7).
6. Faith-people relationship
7. Spiritual understanding
8. Trusting in God (Psalm 21:1-7)
9. Humility (giving God the glory)
10. The gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-11)
11. Obedience to the promptings of the Holy Spirit
12. A hearing ears and a seeing eyes (Matthew 13:16)

Enemies of faith

1. Doubt (Mark 11:23, 24)

2. Impatience (Hebrews 10:35-37)
3. Fear (Romans 14:23)
4. Negative confession

Note:
Everything you need to solve any life’s problem is rapped up in the word of God (Isaiah
34:16).
