Introduction
1 Introduction
The purpose of this proposal is to provide you our client, New Media, with a
detailed description of how we will produce this product for you and inform you
of the costs and time scales.
We are proposing that we produce a sound file for you of actors voices which
you can play on your website to enable production companies to view and
hear the full range of the actors that you have available for their productions.

Actors r us are committed to producing high quality work for a fair

This will ensure that no one is injured and that both the reputation of
New Media and Actors r us is protected.
Actors r us is fully aware that threats to reputation dont just lie within
physical injury. Certain content being exposed to minors is also a
threat that is just as, if not more, dangerous. So we will ensure that
our content can be seen and heard by all communities and age
groups without any risk of offence.
To prevent other lawsuits from taking place due to copyright
infringement. All of our work shall be covered with a disclaimer using
copyright law 107 fair use act of 1975 this act ensures that clips of
public content such as music, videos and games can be used
without direct permission as long as it is not the complete content,
(e.g. five minutes of a film) This will ensure that our voices are safe
from bringing us any trouble with the law. Having done these

preparations allows New Media to have more freedom with its
content.

3 Current Situation

New Media wish to have a new media product to add to their range
of products that advertise actors to production companies. They want
a new digital media project for their business.


4 Solution

Actors r us believe that by putting an MP3 recording of our actors
voices on your website will attract a different range of production
companies to your business; production companies that just need
voices rather than actual footage. This will attract new business
bringing increased revenue to New Media.

4.1 Objectives
Actors r us are an experienced producer of digital media. We have
three objectives for this project that we believe will help you
achieve your business goals.

Objective 1: Find and record the voices of the finest voice
actors available in the country
Objective 2: Produce a high quality MP3 recording
Objective 3: attach this recording to your website making it
easily accessible to visitors of your website and your potential
clients

7 Research of Copyright laws

Thorough research of the copyright laws have been
undertaken to ensure that none are breached by us or New
Media.
Although the copyright law says that use of copyrighted
material counts as stealing and is therefore against the law.
This can result in a fine or even a prison sentence.
law 107 / fair use act says: that a limited amount of projects
that are public domain (e.g.: films, movies, games etc.) can be
used or modified to a certain extent (e.g. remixes/ covers of
songs, fan made movies or in our case. Voice
impersonations.)

Under this law Actors are Us and New Media are protected
from being sued as we can say that we are using a short part
well-known voices to promote their product.

9 Results of Consumer Research

From our analysis of the current market. We have found out that
consumers use a combination of methods to buy products. They
often like to search on-line first, but if making a major purchase they
then like to see it, or hear it in real life. Our sound file make the most
of this method of purchase: your clients can search on-line then,
hear the voice before they commit to signing up the actor for their
production, without incurring additional costs for numerous audition.
