New Director Announced for Star Trek III
The new Star Trek movie series might be taking a new turn
with a new director for the third installment. J.J. Abrams,
who directed the previous two films, is signing on solely as
a producer for Star Trek III. Roberto Orci, a writer for
several tv series and movies including Hercules(1995),
Fringe, Amazing Spider-Man II and the previous Star Trek
reboot films, will be making his directing debut in the
newest Star Trek. Including a new director, the next film
has two fresh writers on board, John D. Payne and Patrick
McKay, with no previous listed film experience. Even though
the team is new, it still has Abrams monetary blessing, so
it should be up snuff. Even with the new Star Trek III news,
lets not forget about Star Trek Renegades, the successfully
Kickstarted Star Trek fan film, who released a new character
video on their Youtube channel.

Lucasfilms Canon Bait n Switch
While this is not brand new news, you might of heard that
the Star Wars Expanded Universe is no longer considered
canon about three weeks ago. If you havent heard,
everything in the Star Wars universe besides the movies and
Clone Wars tv show(i.e. books, comics, games, etc.) will no
longer be considered in the Star Wars universe, freeing up
the writers of Star Wars 7 to ignore over 130 years covered
in-universe past Return of the Jedi in the Expanded
Universe(EU). This news broke the day the Star Wars Youtube

(Lucasfilm, contd) and celebrating the EU while effectively
erasing it from the Star Wars universe. All novels and such
after this point will be in the new canon of the Star Wars
universe. They will continue to profit off of the old EU,
with old novels being rereleased under the Legends brand.

Rolling Chess(Chess)- For each unit you can determine the max it can
each turn by rolling a 6-sided die and dividing the result by two. Adds
a little chance and variety in the game.
Zombie(Cards Against Humanity)- Once every 5 turns, you may discard one
of your black cards and two white cards from your hand to add two white
cards of your choice from the discard pile to your hand.
