ABSTRACT:

Understanding how Emotions and feelings work is important because these are the only elements
that keep us alive make us humans that we are. They are critical to our survival and evolution as a
species. For example, Fear tells us there is something threatening in the environment and alerts us
hence keeps us safe. Similarly there are other unexplored emotions and bodily experiences like
intuition or dj vu that maybe vital to our existence and understanding these can be a
breakthrough.
Till today we stay ignorant to the chemical basis of how emotions work so much so that we cannot
even differentiate between emotions and feelings and understand the effect of each on our
behaviour.
Each emotion is a chemical reaction which results in the release of pheromones and these are
responsible for the feelings that are experienced. Humans own ability to read pheromones and these
results in what is commonly known as intuition but is overshadowed by a human tendency of
reasoning and rationale. This study aims to study various emotions and their associated pheromones.
PH is another factor to Emotions and feelings. Emotions give out acidic pH while feelings give basic.
Regulating pH of our body can be another aspect of controlling our emotions and this aspect is
explored in this study.

BACKGROUND AND SCOPE OF THE PAPER:

The aim of this study would be to understand what are the bio chemicals that trigger emotions that
humans experience and that whether they can be mimicked by any synthetic compound(s) if they
bring positive emotions like the feeling of joy, liveliness, etc or can be possibly antagonized if they
result in negative emotions like depression, fear, anxiety. This study can be a pioneer in controlling
human emotions and can be used to treat many psychological conditions like depression. We will
also attempt to focus on studying the science behind the relationship of body and mind and
incorporate the various experimental findings to bring out conclusive reasoning to emotional
reflexes.
