Scope - The scope of archiving support required in your organization
Critical Mode - Whether to run Lync Server 2013 in critical mode, which
blocks IM or Web conferencing sessions if archiving fails
Management - How archived data is to be managed
Purging - Whether to enable purging of archived data, and if so, how
purging is to be implemented
Configuring the Archiving Service
Create the appropriate topology:
Define SQL Store for Archiving
Configure server-to-server authentication
Configure required policies:

Steps to implement monitoring:
1. Deploy Microsoft SQL Server

- Deploy SQL Server Reporting Services

- Verify the web service URLs
2. Define SQL Store in topology
3. Associate SQL Store to Lync Pool(s)
4. Deploy Monitoring Server Reports
Configuring the Monitoring Service
Configure the Monitoring service by using:
Lync Server Control Panel
Lync Server Management Shell
Configure data purge:
Default is 60 days
Configure QoE and CDR for same number of days
