HDP Motorcycles of Mt. Juliet held a “Bug Run” and chili dinner
on Saturday, November 14, with half of the proceeds to benefit the
Mt. Juliet Help Center. A total of $1,030.00 was raised, with half
the money to be used to buy food for the Help Center, and the other
half given as a prize to the winner: whoever kills a bug closest to
a sticker on the middle of the rider’s motorcycle. When presented
with her winnings of $515.00, Toni Owens gave the money back and
said, “Use it to buy food for the Help Center.” HDP owner David
Howell estimated over 3,000 pounds of food was purchased for the

in a row at the sports fields at Charlie Daniels Park. Mt. Juliet hosted Old Hickory, Bordeaux, Franklin,
Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Spring Hill, Madison, Hendersonville, Grassland, Brentwood, Shelbyville,
