Representative Ted Yoho
511 Cannon House Office Building
Washington, D.C. 20515

Dear Representative Yoho:

Prompting this letter are two questions that require answers. The record shows Congress debat-
ed and passed H.R. 4435, the National Defense Authorization Act. Before passage the record
shows you voted thusly.

Agreed to a simple resolution
Disagreed with a procedural vote
Voted Nay on an amendment authored by Rep Earl Blumenaur (D-OR3) At the end of
subtitle D of title XVI, add the following new section: SEC. 1636. ANNUAL CONGRES-
SIONAL BUDGET OFFICE REVIEW OF COST ESTIMATES FOR NUCLEAR WEAPONS
Voted Nay on an amendment authored by Rep. Adam Schiffs proposal to sunset the
2001 AUMF.
Voted Aye on an amendment authored by Rep. Doug Lamborn that limited the use of
funds to implement the new START treaty.
Voted Aye on an amendment authored by Rep. Lynn Jenkins to create a moratorium on
insourcing of previously contracted activities within the DOD
Voted Nay on an amendment authored by Rep. Adam Smith to eliminate indefinite mili-
tary detention of any person detained under AUMF authority in the U.S., its territories,
or possessions, by providing for immediate transfer to trial and proceedings by a civilian
court.
Voted Nay on an amendment authored by Rep. Adam Smith to provide a framework for
closure of the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba by December 31, 2016.
Voted Aye on an amendment authored by Rep. John Shimkus to delay relinquishment or
agreeing to any proposal relating to the relinquishment of the responsibility of NTIA
over Internet domain name system functions by the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for
Communications.
Voted Aye on an amendment authored by Rep. David McKinley To prohibit funds for the
Administration to conduct any anti-fossil fuel climate change agenda, which includes the
National Climate Assessment, the IPCC report, the UN's Agenda 21, and the Social Cost
of Carbon

Ultimately, you voted Yea on the final bill which contains authority for the detention of Ameri-
can citizens without due process. It nullifies the Fifth Amendment you swore and oath to protect
and defend. Does voting PRESENT harm your manhood? You have a choice. Why didnt you
excise it?

The other issue that requires explanation is your Yea vote on the Electrify Africa Act. This bill
directs the President to establish a multiyear policy/partnership, and funding strategy to assist
countries in sub-Saharan Africa.

You have consistently stated that were broke yet you know, everything Washington does costs
tax money. The American people suffer under a 17 Trillion dollar debt imposed by criminal con-
gresses past and present. It is still l climbing yet you and Corrine Brown voted yes on this bill.
This begs the question: Where in the Constitution did you find the authority to vote Yea on a
welfare bill to a foreign entity.

You are on record saying While serving our Nation, veterans were held accountable.
They deserve no less from their government Since Im a veteran I am looking forward to
your reply.

Yours in the Bill of Rights,
