GLPO ESSAY
Over the past semester I have grown as a global citizen and a student by practicing my
global performances.Some things that made me become a more global citizen and student are:
Investigate the world, Recognizing Perspectives, Communicate Ideas and Take Action. These
skills had helped me discover the good and the bad things that are happening in modern history. I
had done many projects that involved Investigate the world, Recognizing Perspectives,
Communicate Ideas and Take Action. An example for Investigates the World I did an Math
project that was about My school culture in M.I.T. I think that these skills will help me become
a better citizen and student in the future.
The driving question of my math survey project was What does the survey say about
our school culture and health behaviors, experiences and attitude of our students. The questions
my group and I picked were, Wo you try hard at school? and Do you get good grades? We also
wanted to see if our school culture is positive or negative. The way that we had had tested our
hypothesis was by conducting a survey of 50 six grader, 25 seventh graders and 25 eighth
graders which all totaled up to 100 random M.I.T. students that we had surveyed. I had
organized my data by using my packet eight. I had imputed my data by using a two way chart.
So my school culture was that more students had tried hard at school and did get good grades.
The expansion of United States affected different groups within the expansion affects the
Indians and Native Americans because they had lost a lot or all of their land. The expansion of
the United States affected many other different groups. An ethical issue that different groups
within the United States had faced the loss of land that they had fought for too. They were also
forced to give everything they had. Another ethical issue is groups might even had to become
slaves and might not have any rights.Different groups within the United States contributed to
American life by starting over. Some groups might even want to give everything they had decide
that it was a good thing because they might of started off wrong and they could now start fresh.
A written and verbal comparison that I made in regards to prejudice around the world was my
news article template. I did not compare any cultures but I did compare how life was for women
in the 1920s and through the years of 2000. Life for woman in the year of 1920 wasnt right
and they tried to fight for their rights back because the world thought of them as just
housewives and or house cleaners. I experience diversity by reading about different cultures and
their experience. I learned that many women were fighting for the rights. Women want to have
rights just like as man. But can't have any rights. I found out that there is a law named Cedaw.
The technology that I used to help me communicate and collaborate with others diverse
audiences was my computer and phone hello to me research.

I can reflect on the experimental findings in the conclusion by Gallery in all of my information. The most
useful thing that will help me most the most to find the conclusion is my gragh.My graph will answer all
of my questions because it could describe its velocity, density, or even time, et cetera my bobsled
Project Hope my thinking abilities because my group and I to decide on how the bobsled increased its
speed. We had decided of the shorter the box that is the faster it will go. We tested our hypothesis
which was the shorter I will box it is the faster it will go. Our hypothesis was wrong then we tested it on
a graph to help us but we got our hypothesis wrong. This whole thing because we have to decide on
how our hypothesis will be proved right.

So the way I have become better as a global citizen and student was by using all of my skills which
were: investigating the world, recognize perspective, communicate ideas, and take action. These skills
would give me an advantage in my future because I am able to figure out what is the good and the bad
of our world today. It will also help me because I am now aware of what what's happening and I will not
be getting cheated because of these skills and my projects that I have done during the semester.
