Mesita Elementary School-Long Term Substitute February 2014- June 2014
- I worked in a 3
rd
grade classroom as a long term substitute. This was a dual language
classroom with all Gifted and Talented students. Students learned all subject areas in both
languages English and Spanish
Mesita Elementary School- Internship August 2013- December 2013
- My internship was in a 4
th
grade class in a program called Connecting Worlds. This program
consists of an all Gifted and Talented and Dual Language classroom. Students learned all
subject areas in both languages English and Spanish.
Mathmobile Tutorials- Elementary School Tutor August 2012- Present
- I help elementary school students including students with accommodations and gifted and
talented work on different subject areas such as Math, Reading. As a result, they are above their
grade level.
The Math Store Tutoring Center- Elementary School Tutor January 2012- May 2012
- I helped slow learners on their mathematical skills ant they were able to improve their academic
grades and development in school.
Grammies Day Care- Teaching Assistant and Caregiver August 2010-November 2011
- I was a teachers assistant for the Pre-K and Afterschool classroom.
- In the Pre-K classroom I would make interactive activities with my students where they had fun
and they developed and learned communication and motor skills.
- In the Afterschool classroom I would help students in their homework and this helped them
undersand the concepts and improve their academic skills.
