CURRENT EVENTS

Out of all my stories I have wrote these are my best 3 stories. The first
story I am writing is about the shooting in Sandy Hook an elementary
school in Newtown, Connecticut. Then my second story is about the
BCS National Championship game between Alabama and Notre
Dame. In my final story I will tell you about the final 8 of the NFL
playoffs.
In, December of 2012, there was a horrible and sad shooting at
Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. Twenty
children, 6 staff members, including the principal and psychologist
were killed. The shooter was a 21 year old man who had autism and
had it since he was a young boy. The mother of the shooter kept him
home instead of having him go to school because people with autism
have a lot of trouble in school. So, she home schooled him and kept
him under the radar until he was 21. The theory is that his mother was
having trouble controlling him so she was going to send him away to
a facility that would help him with the autism. He found out and was
so angry that he killed his mother. Then he went to the school where
his mother loved the children and with automatic assault weapons he
shot down the doors, shot the principal and the psychologist. Then he
shot 20 children and 4 teachers. Within time, the police came in and
shot him down.
On January 7, 2013 at 8:30 it was finally time for the reunion of
Alabama and Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship.
Everyone expected that it would be a good game. But Alabama turned
what was supposed to be a defensive showdown into an offensive
beat down. By the second half the only competition remaining was
between the schools old coach and its current one. The final score
was 42-14, turning one of college footballs most anticipated title
games into a punch line. Sending once euphoric Fighting Irish fans
who had sought completion of their resistance, walking humbled into
the tropical darkness. In the final rankings it was #1 Alabama, #2
Oregon, #3 OSU, then #4 was used to be undefeated fighting Irish
Notre Dame.
In the final 8 of the NFL playoffs it is going to be #1 seed Denver
Broncos against the #4 seed Baltimore Ravens. It was an epic game
that ended in double overtime with the final field goal the Ravens
kicker kicked it in the goal and won the game 38-35 in what I think
was an epic upset. The other AFC division round game was the New
England Patriots vs. Houston Texans. This game was almost
completely controlled by the Patriots and ended with the score 41-28.
Now it is going to be the Baltimore Ravens against the New England
Patriots in the AFC championship game. In the NFC was #1 seed
Atlanta Falcons playing against the Seattle Seahawks. The First half
was all Atlanta. They went into Halftime winning 20-0. It ended 30-28
and Falcons advance to the next round to play the 49ers.
