A good character is the best tombstone. Those who loved you and were helped by you will remember you
when the forget-me-nots are withered. Carve your name on hearts, and not on marble.

WLBC Praying for CITY S, RUSSIA. Although many people in City S, Russia, have
heard the name of Jesus, it is estimated that only .15 percent of the people in this urban
center are true believers. Some hope desperately that religious traditions will save
them from the crushing weight of guilt and shame that binds the popular religious
beliefs in their culture. Others believe that God is distant and uncaring, so they pursue
safety and meaning in wealth or power. A few even continue to deny Gods existence, as they
had been taught to do in the Soviet Days. Pray that Russians in City S will hunger for spiritual
knowledge, and that they will learn that The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and
knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Do you have any stuffed animals that you
no longer want?
There is a bin near the preschool wing for
donating gently loved or new stuffed
animals. They will go to the Teddy Bear
Brigade, a ministry of Gleaning for the
World. The stuffed animals should not be
electrical, scary or political. The bin is in
the hallway now til Sunday
night, June 8.
