stran%e properties whi&h ma)e the !ni'erse so li)e o!r flesh: Li)e the flesh it attra&ts
!s by the &harm whi&h lies in the mystery of its &!r'es and folds and in the depths of
its eyes* Li)e the flesh it disinte%rates and el!des !s when s!bmitted to o!r analyses
or to o!r fallin%s off and in the pro&ess of its own perd!ran&e* As with the flesh, it &an
only be embra&ed in the endless rea&hin% o!t to attain what lies beyond the &onfines

that Thine &reat!res are not merely so lin)ed to%ether in solidarity that none &an e(ist
