Number of Children

Table __ shows that majority of the residents of the Prk. Tanawing Pag-asa has 3-4 children
which yields 43.18% of the population. While residents with 1 child, 9-10 children, and 11 and
above children got the lowest percentage which yields a percentage of 2.27%.
This means that most of the parents in Purok Tanawing Pag-asa prefer to have 3-4 children. They
think that 3-4 children is enough for them.
Employment of mother
The results show that unemployed mothers yielded a highest percentage of 57.78% while
employed mothers yielded a lowest percentage of 20%.
This means that majority of the mothers in Purok Tanawing Pag-asa are unemployed. They were
unemployed maybe because they are far from the city proper so they cant look for a job easily.
And also they prefer to be at home and take care of their children.
Employment of Father
The results show that self-employed fathers yielded a highest percentage of 65.12% while
unemployed fathers yielded a lowest percentage of 11.63%.
This means that fathers of the family are self-employed. This denotes that fathers of Purok
Tanawing Pag-asa are striving hard on their own to raise their family. Eventhough they dont
have permanent jobs, they still try to look for money for their foods and daily needs.
Monthly Income
The results show that 5,000 and above yielded a highest percentage of 38.64% while 1,000-
2,000 yielded a lowest percentage of 0%.
This means that majority of the respondents has a monthly income of 5,000 and above and none
of them has a monthly income of 1,000-2,000.
This denotes that the residents of Purok Tanawing Pag-asa is not experiencing extreme poverty
because they have money to support for their foods and daily needs.
Daily Food Expenditures
The results show that both 30-50 and more than 50.00 yielded a highest percentage of
45.45% while below 20.00 yielded a lowest percentage of 9.09%.
This indicates that majority of the respondents has an adequate budget for their food. They can
eat 3 times a day despite of the financial problem they are experiencing because they have
different resources to utilize such as vegetables in their garden, meat in their poultry house and
fruits of the trees in their surroundings.


Clothing: Number of times of buying
The results show that once a year yielded a highest percentage of 65.91% while 4 times a year
yielded a lowest percentage of 4.55%.
This indicates that most of the respondents buy clothes only once a year and they said that its
only during Christmas day. It denotes that the residents of the Purok Tanawing Pag-asa do not
spend most of their money on clothes but they spend more for foods and daily needs. Few of
them only buy clothes 4 times a year.
Housing
The results show that the respondents who are using electricity yielded a highest percentage of
53.52% while 42.25% of the respondents have an access to water. Telephone yielded a lowest
percentage which yielded 4.23%.
This indicates that majority of the respondents has an access to electricity which they need to use
everyday for lighting and other household chores everyday. And also most of them have access
to water because it is their basic need. It may be from water pump, pressure pump, artesian well
or etcetera.
Types of schooling
The results show that public school yielded a highest percentage of 83.72% while private school
yielded a lowest percentage of 16.28%.
This denotes that majority of the respondents send their children in public school because it is
cheap and the expenses are less. And few of the respondents are sending their children to private
schools because they dont have enough money to pay for their tuition fees and miscellaneous.
Types of House
The result show that the respondents with concrete houses yielded a highest percentage of
45.45% while a house thats made of wood got a lowest percentage of 6.82% .
This shows that majority of the residents of the Purok Tanawing Pag-asa have concrete houses
because 63 houses that are concrete were sponsored by the Rotary Club and Couples for Christ
organization.
House ownership
The result shows that the respondents who dont owned their houses yielded a highest percentage
of 54.55% while the owned houses of the respondents got a lowest percentage of 45.45%.
This shows that majority of the respondents houses are not owned because the rotary club and
couples for Christ chooses them to live there as beneficiaries. And those respondents who owned
their houses are those who live outside the GK village.


Ventilation
The result shows that the residents house ventilation yielded a highest percentage of 70.45%
while the lowest percentage is 29.55%.
This indicates that those houses with good ventilation has access to electricity those houses are
near the trees, Africans that can provide them enough ventilation. And those houses that have the
poor ventilation might be near the rice fields without any trees that can cover the houses, no
access to electricity.
Lighting
The result shows that 97.73% of the respondents have adequate lighting and yielded a highest
percentage while the 2.27% have inadequate lighting and its the lowest percentage.
This denotes that most of the respondents houses have adequate lighting because most of them
have access to electricity. And those houses that have inadequate lighting are only few because
they have no access to electricity.
Surroundings
The result shows that clean surroundings yielded a highest percentage of 84.78% while the
lowest percentage is dirty 15.22%.
This indicates that the residents of the purok tanawing pag-asa are responsible in maintaining
cleanliness in their surroundings.
Source of Water Supply
The result shows that the residents who are using pressure pump yielded a highest percentage of
53.49% of water while artisian weel yielded a lowest percentage of 0%.
This indicates majority of the residents are using pressure pump donated by the counselor who
lives in their barangay. As verbalized by the respondents the water produced by the pressure
pump is clean and potable.
Storager of drinking Water

The result shows that covered yielded a highest score of 73.33% while uncovered yielded a
4.44%which is the lowest percentage.
This indicates that majority of the respondents cover their drinking water so that it may not be
contaminated. As verbalized by the respondents.
Container Used
The result shows that the container used by the respondents is plastic and yielded a highest score
of 49.01% while the bottles yielded a lowest percentage of 13.73%.
This indicates that majority of the respondents used plastic container because it is more
accessible.
Toilet Facilities
The result shows that the toilet facilities used by the respondents is flush and yielded a highest
score of 88.64% .while the balot system yielded a lowest percentage of 2.27%.
This indicates that majority of the respondents used a flush in their toilet facilities because most
of the houses that are made especially in GK village are with crs inside.
Toilet Ownership
The result shows that owned toilet got 91.84% and yielded a highest percentage. while shared
toilet got 8.16% yielded a lowest percentage.
This indicates that majority of the respondents owned their toilets exclusively
Garbage Disposal
The result shows that burning is the most practice in the community and yielded a highest
percentage of 54.55% while collection yielded a lowest percentage of 2.27%.
This indicates that majority of the respondents practice burning than any other garbage disposals
because there place is too far from the city.
Food Storage
The result shows that covered food is the practice in the community and yielded a highest
percentage of 73.33% while uncovered food yielded a lowest percentage of 0%.
This indicates that respondents in the community covered food to maintain its freshness and
prevent it from spoiling.
