Radford University Independent Study: “Cross-Country Extravaganza Documentary”

o Developed and researched a 5 month-long film project to create a documentary of a trip across the U.S.
o Devised a location guide of where filming would take place
o Filmed 14 hours total on location in 13 cities and 9 states.
o Collected video interviews from 10 expert sources.
o Completed necessary research to create a self-narrated script for the production
o Edited (using Final Cut Pro), adding transitions and custom music tracks
o Completed an hour long, informative, documentary-style look at our trip

Media Studies TV Production Newscasts
