GRAMMAR: PASSIVE VOICE

There will be two Passive Voice sentences for the sentences with two nouns.
There are few verbs which take two objects, a Direct object and an Indirect object.
For such sentences, there will be two forms in Passive Voice sentences.
1. Verbs with two objects:
Examples:
I gave him five ruees. !"ctive voice#
Five ruees were given to him b$ me. !Passive Voice#

I was told the truth b$ her. !Passive Voice#

2. Imperative sentences (Commands and reqests!
There is secial formula for changing the imerative sentence into assive voice.

%ere the sentence in active)voice has been changed into a sentence in assive)
voice.
Please understand the formula which has been followed to change the active)voice
to assive)voice.
*(et+ is used to convert the active voice sentence into a assive voice sentence.
Examples:

These sentences have been changed into assive voice sentences b$ adding -let-.
". #ith $odal verbs:
The verbs can, could, ma$, might, and must are known modal verbs. "s er the
following methods these sentences with these verbs are changed into assive
voice.
Examples:

%. Phrasal verbs:
Few verbs, with certain meanings are alwa$s used with reositions.
In such situations the reositions should not be omitted in the sentences.
Examples:

&. #ith IT:
In few sentences, instead of a word or a hrase, a clause ma$ be the object of a
verb.
In such cases there are two wa$s of changing the sentences into the assive voice.
