KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
• 2008/09: Successfully developed a strategic regional corporate communications and PR program to position and
introduce GuestLogix, a new-to-Asia travel technology company, that is closely aligned to its business and sales
objectives. Results: its key messages were successfully received and covered by over 10 regional Tier 1 media.
• 2004-2006: Successfully marketed and positioned newly developed and enhanced American Express payment
technologies and solutions in the marketplace, hence achieving and exceeding key sales targets YOY (exceeded carry
over sales trade target by 23%, exceeded Business Travel Account sales trade target by 88%, won Regional Recognition
Award for highest sales achieved in Q4 2004).
• 2002-03: Successfully developed and implemented strategic local and regional PR, corporate and marketing
communications plans and rebranding strategies for Kelly Services & Levi Strauss that positively impacted internal and
external stakeholders as well as garnered substantial Tier 1 & 2 local and regional media coverage.
• 2002: Presented and successfully sold-in an integrated communications program to the Chairman of Singapore Sports
Council to promote and build the image of selected National Sports Associations and increase interest level in those
selected sports.
• 1999-2001: Exceeded sales target by 50% for FY1999-2000. Grew the portfolio base by 20% YOY, partly contributed by
the strategic organic growth of key accounts, Ericsson & Cisco Systems.
• 1994-1998: Key contributor and collaborator for enabling Visa International to leverage key relationships to drive
business results for its brand, products and services. As a result, Visa was placed firmly ahead of its competitors in terms
of card and charge volume, media coverage quality, and was recognized as the world’s leading payment system and
technology leader.

• Marketed a suite of American Express commercial payment products and solutions to large corporations & MNCs.

customer needs analysis as well as to add-value to existing programs to drive greater partnership penetration.
• Provided strategic and customer-focused consultative sales insight to compellingly sell-in commercial card solution
programs.
Achievements: Marketed and positioned newly developed and enhanced payment technologies and solutions in the
marketplace, hence achieving and exceeding key sales targets YOY (eg achieved 123% of carry over sales trade target,
achieved 188% of BTA sales trade target and won the Regional Recognition Award for highest sales achieved in Q4 2004).

• Managed the agency’s global key account – Cisco Systems - on a regional level as well as to manage existing clients
such as Six Continents (now known as IHG) and American Express.

• Provided strategic counsel and created an 18-month marketing and BTL plan for Cisco.
• Worked with IHG to create, implement and activate its rewards programme, stimulate usage and retain members in key
APAC markets.
Reason for leaving: My position was made redundant as DWW failed to secure Cisco on a long-term retainer contract.

• Established and spearheaded a PR division to complement the agency’s core business.
