The current market in Slovenia is very disorganized and unregulated, with so many
inefcient plastic separators are on the market and so, Pavan Ekology has been
having difculties penetrating the market. Therefore, weve needed to perform
demonstrations and raise awareness among our potential customers,about waste
water problem. Due to the aforementioned conditions, we are trying to promote sales
in neighboring markets in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Russia and Italy.
Description of the Realized Projects
The new waste water treatment gravity separator developed by Pavan ekologija d.o.o.
solves the problem of purifcation of waste water, contaminated with oil, grease, and
solids. The base solution is resolved with high efciency, high quality innovative, a
self-cleaning patent protected coalescer, and our new innovative oil-water separator.
It can be used in crude oil felds, refneries, landflls, gas stations, harbors, marinas,
the chemical industry, waste dumps, military stations, municipalities, utilities and
everywhere, where water is contaminated with oil, grease and solids.

Due to problems in regulatory conditions and control of waste water in marinas, where
water are contaminated with oil, grease and heavy metals and the use of inefcient
treatment devices has created a need for a new and efcient waste water treatment
device.
Pavan Ekology has developed a new universal separation-fltration for two stage
waste water treatment device. The frst stage is gravity separation and the second
stage is multiple fltrations.
The new waste water treatment device is easy to use and easy to maintain, so it can
be done by personnel employed in shops or marinas. This new separation-fltration
treatment device is a novelty in the world market.
Besides the new separation-fltration device, Pavan Ekology has also developed a
new waste water device for treating waste water in restaurants and hotels, which is
efcient and simple to maintain.

New Products Development
Development of our new devices is based on many years of experience with oil water
separation, we have achieved excellent 99.9% efciency for waste water purifcation,
which is even beter than what European standards prescribe.
Our investment and objectives were directed to develop innovative, cuting-edge
separation-fltration devices to purify waste water contaminated with oil, chemicals,
and heavy metals, by combined system of separation and fltration. The new device
was built and has been tested in real life conditions in marinas and in industry. We
are at the beginning stages of aggressive marketing of our new products. To day we
have new orders.

The newly developed universal-separation-fltration device can be used independently
as an oil-water separator, as a fltration system or as a combination separation-fltration
system.
Samples of contaminated water from input and treated water were analyzed to
obtain the certifcate. The test of treated water was excellent, so we will continue with
our demonstrations in other marinas. Pressure on the marinas is growing, because
polluting the sea with toxic chemicals and heavy metals is bad and dangerous thing
for the seas natural environment, and for tourism in the Adriatic area.

NEW PROJECTS
Pavan ekologija d.o.o. is developing a new water surface wacuum sweeper for lakes,
rivers, sea contaminated with oil and chemicals. The new device is contamination of
vacuum sweeper.

ROTARY PUMP DEVELOPMENT
A rotary piston pump is a universal pump with positive displacement. The specialty of
this rotary pump is that it can be connected directly to an electrical motor. Analysis of
new rotary pump has shown it can be used for the transfer of many diferent liquids. It
is a new product, for general use. The rotary piston pump with a positive displacement
is a new and innovative pump which derives from our US patent 4434751. Operation
of the pump is carried out in a circular housing, in which two oscillating pistons rotate.
In one revolution there are two suctions and two compressions of liquid. Oscillation
of the piston is controlled by a patented rotating mechanism.
The need for such a pump in an ecological processes of waste water treatment is
necesity, because centrifugal pumps generate an intense mixing of contaminants in
waste water, which is therefore much more difcult to treat them.
The disadvantage of the classic piston pumps is the complexity of the system, with
intake and outlet valves. Diaphragm pumps are generally air-operated, and they are
expensive and require pressurized air for their operation, the Pavan newly developed
rotary pump has many advantages compared to other pumps on the market. The new
pump will be a global product.

We established the company PAVAN Ekologija d.o.o. in Slovenia focused on the
development of highly efcient devices for waste water treatment. Our business is
currently focused on developing and manufacturing top quality oil-water separators,
and universal separation-fltration systems for treatment of waste water which can be
recycled and reused.
The main purpose of this report is to present new and existing products in the feld of
treating industrial and meteoric waste water.
