Your stereos analogue audio input is a 3.5 mm phone connector
1. Connect one end of the supplied 3.5mm male to male audio cable to the 3.5
mm phone connector (AUDIO OUT) on the BluDAC.
2. Connect the other end to a 3.5 mm phone connector audio input on your home
stereo system. Consult your stereos users manual for more information on how
to accomplish this.
Your stereos analogue audio input is a stereo RCA connector
1. Connect one end of the supplied 3.5mm male to male audio cable to the 3.5
mm phone connector (AUDIO OUT) on the BluDAC.
2. Connect the other end to the 3.5 mm female phone connector of the supplied
3.5mm female to audio stereo cable.
3. Connect the other end of the 3.5mm female to audio stereo cable to an audio
input (2xRCA) on your home stereo system. Consult your stereos users manual
for more information on how to accomplish this.
Digital connection
1. Connect one end of a TOSLINK cable (not included) to the optical connector on
the BluDAC (recommended)
2. Connect the other end to an optical (TOSLINK) input of your home stereo system.
3. Consult your stereos users manual for more information on how to accomplish this.
Mains Connection
1. Connect the AC power adaptor cable to the DC input jack of BluDAC.
2. Plug the power adaptors AC end to any AC outlet.
3. The LED light will flash once to indicate that the unit is powered and ready for pairing.

BluDAC is equipped with a standard NFC tag for easy and fast pairing. Before you
can use this feature, you need to make sure your device (Smartphone, tablet, etc)
is equipped with the NFC function and its operating system is Android 4.1 and
above.
To connect your device:
1. Check the operation systems version

Choose about Device
Make sure that the operating
system is Android 4.1 or above

2. Turn on the NFC function

Go back to settings page
Tap your device on the BluDAC.
A message will pop up:
Pair the Bluetooth device?
Please choose YES
(Sometimes this message may not pop up)
Pairing begins and Connection is being
established.
You can play music now.
Check the NFC function Turn the NFC function ON

If you want to disconnect your device, you need to tap it on
the BluDAC again. The connection between the BluDAC
and your device will be turned off.
4. Pairing your BluDAC with no NFC devices
4.1 iPad/iPhone/iPod touch
Inside General tap on Bluetooth From your iPad/iPhone/iPod
touch home page, tap settings
Inside Settings tap on

Turn the Bluetooth function On

1. Turn your Apple devices Bluetooth ON

Enter 0000 when your iPod/iPhone/iPad
asks for a PIN code
(some devices may not ask for a PIN).
This will allow your Apple device to pair
with Music Receiver i.e. BluDAC.
Your iPod/iPhone/iPad is now
connected to the BluDAC.
Your iPod/iPhone/iPad will start
searching for available devices.
When you see Music Receiver
Tap on it.

4.2 To connect your Android Smartphone/Tablet
From your smartphone home
page, tap on settings
Inside the settings tab, turn
the Bluetooth function ON
Bluetooth is now turned on
Your Smartphone/tablet will start searching for available devices.
When you see Music Receiver, tap on it.
1. Turn your devices Bluetooth ON
2. Search for BluDAC

Smartphone/tablet asks for PIN
code some devices may not ask
for a PIN.
Once paired, the blue LED light on the BluDAC will flash once.
After the connection is established, the Blue LED will stay on
and your Smartphone will show connected to media audio
3. Establish connection
Note:
Some devices, such as iPhone, will connect immediately after pairing so
the LED will stay ON. Other devices, such as a notebook, may ask you if
you wish to connect and the LED will go off after pairing, until a connection
is established.
Although the BluDAC can only play music from one device at a time, it is capable of
being paired to up to 8 devices. That means that you have to pair and enter the PIN
code once for each device.
Having connected your device to the BluDAC you can play music on your device
as you would normally do, but this time the sound will come out from your stereo
system.

Note:
The effective range of BluDAC is 10m (33 feet) (line of sight). If you hold or
wear your Smartphone/tablet and cover the Bluetooth antenna, this range
may be shorter.
If you move out of range or turn your devices Bluetooth off, the BluDAC will be
disconnected from your device. To reconnect, simply open the Bluetooth manager
and tap on the Music Receiver. You dont have to input the PIN again, the con-
nection will establish automatically.
If you want to pair another device, please follow these steps
1. End the existing Bluetooth connection with connected device.
2. The BluDAC can now be connected to another device such as iPad/iPod/iPhone,
Smartphone or tablet.
3. Follow the Pairing instructions of chapters 3 and 4 to connect the new device
When the paired device moves away from receiver (more than 10m/33feet) or
there is something blocking the Bluetooth signal, the LED light goes off, indicating
that the connection between the device and the BluDAC has been lost. To reestab-
lish the connection:
1. Move within 15 seconds the device back into range (within 10m/33 feet), and
make sure theres a clear line of sight, with no obstructions between the BluDAC
and the device.
2. The connection will be automatically reestablished and the LED will turn on

3. If the connection is lost for more than 15 seconds, you will need to reconnect
the device again, following the chapter 5 (Reconnecting your device) instuctions.
If no music comes out from your stereo
Make sure the BluDAC is powered.
Make sure an analogue audio cable or an optical cable is correctly and firmly
connected to the BluDAC
Make sure you have selected the correct audio source on your amplifier
(analogue audio or TOSLINK)
Make sure the volume of your device and your stereo is set to a comfortable
listening level
Make sure you are within Bluetooth range.
Make sure the Bluetooth function is active on your device.
Make sure you are playing music from your device.
BluDAC requires your full attention in order to be properly installed.
Do not use BluDAC near water(for example, a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink,
laundry tub, wet basement, swimming pool, or other areas located near water).
Clean with dry cloth.
Unplug the BluDAC before cleaning.
Install BluDAC far away from heat sources.
Use only the attached accessories.
Unplug the BluDAC when unused for long time.
