So i( we were to draw lines (rom the (orni) to where the sha(ts are pointing to the stars-
we see that Sirius and 'rion correspond to the pre(rontal corte) which is responsi.le (or
emotions- *udgement and planning 0/sis/Sirius1- and the dorsolateral which is responsi.le
(or imagination 0'siris/'rion>s .elt1. 'n the other side they point to the areas o( the .rain
associated with %isual memory- and the processing o( multisensorial in(ormation 0the two
immortal stars1.
So now to the more directly alchemical. :he entire practice o( alchemy is o(ten re(erred
to as the ,2rt o( $ire,- so the (urnace 0$orna)1 is a central (eature in much alchemical art
and re(erences. 2gain we see that the constellation $orna) sits in the same place as the
"reat !yramid>s <ing>s cham.er- in the same place where the $orni) rests within the
central .rain. /n alchemy the inner la.oratory 0Aa.-'ratory1 is the place where the
sacred work is done- and there are two locations 0as a.o%e so .elow1. :he lower is in
the .ody and many o( the alchemical re(erences are also mirrored in lower anatomy. $or
e)ample there is the woman>s %aginal (orni)- which makes re(erence to se)ual alchemy
and is mirrored in ,'rion>s Sword,- which is no sword .ecause no warrior has e%er held
a sword .etween their legs. :he upper is in the higher conscious e)perience- which
occurs when our .rainwa%es drop to deeper states which are normally e)perienced as
%arious stages o( sleep- which engage more central aspects o( the .rain.
/n the picture o( the alchemical (urnace you see the three men dressed in ro.es 0much
like the :hree 9ise men1 in (ront o( the (urnace in the same way the three stars o(
'rion>s .elt are in the same depicted place on the star map with the pyramid 0and
$orna) constellation1. /( there is any dou.t as to the relation .etween the constellation
$orna) and alchemical workings the last image actually comes (rom an old star map o(
the constellation $orna)- and actually says 2pparatus #hemicus- which / am sure / don>t
need to translate.

is important to say here is that it is a mistake to think that the stars and the anatomy is
the actual mystery that is .eing transmitted .y ancient teachings and practices. :his is

deep 6elta 0normally dreamless sleep1 we reach a point o( (our cycles per second or
lower- it is a state called 6elta $ornicus. 2nd within $orna) star constellation- we see one
o( the stars is called 6elta $orna). 9hat does this meanB :hat in deep meditation- we
are seeking to remain conscious and lucid to this deep state o( 6elta (ornicus. :his is (ar
.eyond where most people reach in meditation. ost people ne%er go .eyond :heta
.rainwa%es 0normally dream sleep1. :his is still a deep state- and a person who reaches
this state will e)perience many %isions and ,spiritual, e)periences. :he su.conscious
realm o( the astral plane is the realm o( the Soul- and it is this place where dreams- lucid
dreams and astral pro*ections reside. 3eyond this is the 6elta wa%es- and this mo%es to
(urther reaching e)periences that are e%en .eyond the reach o( our indi%idual ,mortal,
soul- which is why it is always re(erenced as a sort o( death that leads to re.irth. 9e
ha%e to .e willing to die .y *umping to cross the a.yss o( indi%idual consciousness to the
realm o( the supernal/;uantum consciousness.
/n 3uddhism- the word :athata means "suchness" or "thusness" and refers to the
ultimate nature of a thing. Buddha referred to himself at times as Tathagata (Japanese
Nyorai) and means "one who has thus gone", or "one who has thus come".
This "coming and going" refers to the reaching of this Ultimate reality. And
here is where we find the connection with Fornix/Fornax. By remaining
conscious though the dee states of meditation, we can "roll !ac"" the
#tone of the $ault and enter %igher &ealities that ha$e long since !een the
goal of ancient cultures.
