BACHELOR OF ACCOUNTING (HONS)
The College of Business Management & Accounting at Sultan Haji
Ahmad Shah Campus, Pahang, offers students comprehensive and
balanced programmes that inculcate innovation. These programmes
aim to nurture dedication, discipline as well as high moral and ethical
standards that will produce professional accountants, marketers
and entrepreneurs.
Management is about how organisations operate and adapt to the
ever-changing environment to meet the complex and multiple
demands of todays society. The emphasis is on the effective usage
of people, capital, ideas and other available resources in right
proportions for the advancement of organisations. The business
management programmes encompass a number of specialised
fields which include accounting, finance, marketing, entrepreneur
development and human resource management.
Businesses in the future require competent and capable executives
that are able to work across the organisation in diverse divisions
such as production, finance, human resource, marketing and
engineering.
All programmes offered are designed to satisfy the academic require-
ments of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) or formerly known
as National Accreditation Board. The accounting degree programme is
recognised by relevant professional bodies such as the Malaysian
Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), Malaysian Institute
of Accountants (MIA), Institute of Chartered Accountants of England
and Wales (ICAEW), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
(ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA),
Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA),
Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators
(MAICSA) and Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Australia.
Career Prospects: Graduates will be able to pursue careers as
