Canadian Chair, 2007 Georgia Basin Puget Sound Conference, July 2006 - July 2007
The premier conference focused on the transboundary Salish Sea ecosystem. A four-day
international conference with a $500K budget, 1000 delegates, 500 presenters. Responsible for

Manager, Sustainable Communities, BC Min. of Environment, June 2005 - June 2006


As advisor to the Deputy Minister for the development of the new Sustainable Communities
Initiative, responsibilities included: developing networks with external and internal stakeholders,
drafting concept papers and cabinet submissions and managing contracts supplemental to in-
house analysis. Also proposed, planned and delivered the “Business Engagement Forum” as part of
the United Nations World Urban Forum.
