During class
1. Come on time and don't be late
2. Bring all your needed stuff (book, file, floppy disk) and stationary (pens, pencils …
etc) with you
3. Listen to your teacher carefully and take notes. Don’t disturb the lesson and your
friends
4. Raise your hand quietly and the teacher will get to you
5. Watch out for your homework and assignment papers, losing any of them will cause
you troubles. NO MORE COPIES!!!
6. Before you leave make sure to return you seat to its place, and clean up your station
7. Make sure to take everything with you before leaving
8. No food or drink is allowed; that includes gum, nuts and candy
9. Respect the equipment. Don’t remove or disconnect any labels, parts or cables
hands off the monitor; gentle use of the keyboard and mouse
10. Do not access files, accounts or other systems you are not authorized to. Don’t
modify or delete any system files on any lab computers
11. Close any opened programs before you leave
12. All books and other personal items not used during the lesson are to be left on the
shelves by the door
13. If you ever face any problem with a computer let the teacher know immediately
14. Do not personalize the computers:
• NEVER install screensavers from the Internet
• NEVER Change the desktop background
• NEVER Change the video and audio settings
15. The Lab Technicians and assistants are in charge of the computer lab. Their
instructions must be followed
16. We are not responsible for personal items left on the lab
17. Copying applications from the file servers or hard drive is not allowed
18. Saving of personal data on the hard drive is not allowed and will be deleted

Break time

1. Sign in the sheet and don’t forget to type the PC number

2. Do not read or modify other users' files
3. Students are NOT to be in the lab without supervision at any time. NO
EXCEPTIONS!!
4. Headphones are provided as a courtesy service. Students must return headphones in
the same condition as they were given
5. Computers are intended to be used for educational purposes ONLY. You can use it for
fun if permission taken
6. Loading programs from diskette, flash memory or CD onto the hard drive is not
allowed without approval
7. CD-ROMs and other multimedia equipments are for school use only. Do not use
them for playing music or other recreational activities
8. If you are gone for more than 10 minutes, the computer lab will assign your
computer to someone else, if needed
9. Printing is to be limited to educational purposes. Multiple copies are not allowed.
Please preview/proof material before printing
10. No personal laptops are permitted in the computer lab
11. If there is a shortage of available machines, users must give up their computers if
they are needed for a higher priority use like working on assignments or projects

Consequences if not following the rules

a. You will be removed from the Computer Lab immediately
b. Repeat offenders will be banned permanently from using the Computer Lab
during the breaks
c. Demerits of third degree will be given to you
d. Violation of these rules could lead for a temporary suspension

Detailed Internet Rules

12. Use the Internet for educational purposes in a safe ethical manner
13. No chatting or instant messaging
14. Downloading programs from the Internet into the hard drive is not allowed without
permission
15. Tell the teacher about any misuse of the internet
16. If you think that there is an inappropriate site is opened by any student, just tell the
teacher about the site address for future block
17. don’t cheat or use someone’s else work as your own work
18. do not save any web pages on the HD drive without a permission
19. when using Emails
a. be polite
b. use appropriate language
c. keep personal information private
d. don’t disturb others and send many useless emails
e. don’t log to others emails if you found one’s opened
f. sign out before leaving
