d20 WW2 US Weapons

US Firearms
All Firearm tables use the same statistics.
Damage: This is the weapons damage if using d20 CoC or V for Victory.
d20 Modern Damage: This is the damage value is using d20 odern. All firearms have a
20!"2 critical value and deal #allistic damage.
Range Increment: Any attac$ at less than this distance is not penali%ed for range.
&owever' each full range increment causes a cumulative (2 penalty on the attac$ roll.
)anged weapons have a ma"imum range of ten range increments' e"cept for thrown
weapons' which have a ma"imum range of five range increments.
Rate of Fire: *ome ranged weapons have a rate of fire of +' which simply means they can
be employed once per round and then must be reloaded or replaced. Firearms' which
operate through many different forms of internal mechanisms' have varying rates of fire.
The three possible rates of fire are single shot' semiautomatic' and automatic.
Single Shot: A weapon with the single shot rate of fire re,uires the user to manually
operate the action -the mechanism that feeds and coc$s the weapons. between each shot.
#olt/action rifles are the most common e"ample of firearms with single shot rates of fire. A
weapon with the single shot rate of fire can fire only one shot per attac$' even if the user
has a feat or other abilities that normally allow more than one shot per attac$.
Semiautomatic (S: ost handguns have the semiautomatic rate of fire. A semiautomatic
weapon fires one shot per attac$ -effectively acting as a single shot weapon.' or it can be
used to get one e"tra attac$ per round. The attac$ is at your highest base attac$ bonus'
but each attac$ you ma$e in that round -the e"tra one and the normal ones. ta$es a (2
penalty. This uses a full attac$ action.
!utomatic (!: Automatic weapons fire a burst or stream of shots with a single s,uee%e of
the trigger. 0nly weapons with the automatic rate of fire can be set on autofire or be used
with feats that ta$e advantage of automatic fire. *ome automatic weapon have slower or
faster rates of fire. These are listed as -As. for slow autofire and -Af. for fast autofire. *ee
Autofire rules for more details.
Maga"ine: The weapons maga%ine capacity and type are given in this column. The
amount of ammunition a weapon carries' and hence how many shots it can fire before
needing to be reloaded' is determined by its maga%ine capacity. &ow the firearm is
reloaded depends upon its maga%ine type. The number in this entry is the maga%ines
capacity in shots1 the word that follows the number indicates the maga%ine type2 bo"'
cylinder' or internal. A fourth type' belt' has an unlimited capacity1 for this reason the entry
does not also have a number.
#o$: A bo" maga%ine is any type of maga%ine that can be removed and reloaded
separately from the weapon. )eloading a weapon with another bo" maga%ine is a move
action. 3oading an empty maga%ine re,uires a move action for every three bullets.
%&linder: A revolver $eeps its ammunition in a cylinder' which is part of the weapon and
serves as the firing chamber for each round as well. 4nli$e bo" maga%ines' cylinders cant
be removed' and they must be reloaded by hand. This ta$es two move actions.
Internal: *ome weapons $eep their ammunition in an internal space' which must be
loaded by hand. This is the case with most rifles. ost such weapon can be reloaded with
a stripper clip. This is contains several bullets clipped together in a light metal guide. The
clip is held above the empty internal maga%ine and the rounds are all pushed into the
maga%ine in one motion. )eloading a weapon in this way ta$es a move action. 5f no
stripper clips are available' the weapon must be loaded by hand with re,uires one move
action per three bullets.
#elt: ost machine guns use belted ammunition. The bullets are chained together with
small metal clips' forming a belt. Typically' a belt holds 60 bullets1 any number of belts can
be clipped together. 5n military units' as the gunner fires' an assistant clips new
ammunition belts together' $eeping the weapon fed.
Si"e: *i%e categories for weapons and other ob7ects are defined differently from the si%e
categories for creatures. The relationship between a weapons si%e and that of its wielder
defines whether it can be used one/handed' if it re,uires two hands' and if its a light
weapon. A edium/si%e or smaller weapon can be used one/handed or two/handed. A
3arge weapon re,uires two hands. A &uge weapon re,uires two hands and a bipod or
other mount. A *mall or smaller weapon is considered a light weapon. 5t can be used one/
handed and' as a light weapon' is easier to use in your off hand.
Weight: This column gives the weapons weight when fully loaded.

3erman Firearms
