Job Summary Statement:
The Department of Business, Management, and Legal Programs offers
over 350 courses, conferences, and seminars annually and is home to 17
professional certificate programs designed for business professionals who
want to make a powerful commitment to enhancing their careers. The
Legal Programs Unit provides current, comprehensive training and
information for professionals in the legal field as well as executives,
entrepreneurs, consultants, bankers, real estate developers and many
other professionals whose jobs intersect with the law.
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Administrative
Assistant provides administrative and programmatic support for the Legal
Programs unit, including the Paralegal Training Program (PTP), other
existing and new courses in the Legal Unit, and special events. The
Administrative Assistant will participate in records coordination and
provide clerical and administrative support to the Program Director and
Legal Unit staff. Incumbent is expected to maintain a comprehensive
knowledge of the Legal Unit programs to effectively respond to inquiries.

Shift Start: 8:00 am
Shift End: 5:00 pm

Skill in operating a computer using Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Access, Excel, and Internet
Explorer.

Computer skills necessary to develop, implement, and maintain Paralegal Training Program computer
programs and effectively perform required data processing.

Skill in organizing material and information in a manner that will optimize performance and prevent
duplication of effort.
